96p added to mortgage overpayment account from cashback.

Completed my mileage form for September - £16.92.  I'm so bad at remembering to do this but have set a reminder in my phone for end of this month.  It never really seems worth the effort each month but over the course of the year, that would be an extra few hundred pounds in my pocket  so absolutely worth it.

If your employer pays you less than the HMRC rate, you can also claim back the tax on the difference at the end of the tax year 👍

Thanks South_coast.  I didn't know this but a quick look at the HMRC website says 45p per mile which is what I get.

Not much to report but trying to get back into the habit of posting regularly.  Slept pretty much all day, OH made a yummy roast dinner for tea and then back to work for another NS.  Much quieter tonight (shouldn't jinx it ) so managing to catch up on a lot of paperwork.

44p cashback moved to mortgage overpayment account

NSD on Monday.  Spent £6.85 on a wee top up shop yesterday.

Not back at work until Saturday NS, nice to have a few days off.  Plan is to head over to the allotment this morning as it's been a bit neglected recently.

£6.60 cashed out from PA and added to the mortgage overpayment account

Picked up some free tatties and a brownie yesterday courtesy of the Lid! app.  Also spent £3.97 on spaghetti, garlic and tomato puree as realised our planned spaghetti bolognese was missing a few key ingredients.

Today has been a NSD, have been hanging out with my dad and gran as my dad is up for a few days.  Came home with a bag of hm jams and juice, eggs from my dad's hens and some produce from his garden so need to incorporate that into meal plans.

Impatiently waiting for money to become available to cash out from PA so I can make the next £50 overpayment to the mortgage.

Yesterday was a NSD, just hanging out again with my dad and gran.

Today I've spent £13.34 on a nice cake and biscuits (dad and gran came round to ours for coffee this morning) and snacks for NS.

Not long up from a nap so going to jump in the shower and get some food before going to work.

72p added to the mortgage overpayment account from cashback.
