Morning. Wordle in four.

First of two wash loads is in machine.  No real plans for today but I'll report back later with any flying.

I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds,  turned over the calendars,  set towels and tea towels swishing, completed Strands with two hints,  completed Wordle in three, completed Connections with one life lost, and I'm supping my first brew.

To Do Today List 

Get dressed 
Feed the birds 
Put out the recycling 
Peg out washing 

Hoover stairs 

Have a good day

Most of the recycling is out

Been walking, the skylarks are singing well, calm flat sea, local lifeboat spotted out on Sunday training.

To do, work with nnd on sorting out the brambles, as between us they are all over the place, then agree where my new fence is going, (don't want any problems in the future) however my garden bin is full, so need to jump in it and jump up and down a bit to make more room.

Sun is out.

Afternoon all,
Busy morning, just stopped for coffee.  Whoops, lunchtime will have to wait its turn.
DD wanted a parcel posted. My dilemma - small town where roadworks were due to start but traffic appeared to be moving, but once you’re stuck, there is no way round. Or big town, where roadworks ongoing but ways round to be had. I opted for small town but before the high street shops were open. Smart move, only got caught for a couple of minutes behind the lorry setting out the roadwork signs. There and back, stress levels lowered, relieved sighs sighed.
I’ve been up to the allotment, as the big weed patch (couch grass, raspberry runners, overgrown herbs) is in the shade first thing. Only it wasn’t first thing by this time. I did a couple of hours, then admitted defeat, due to it being twot.
Kettle is currently descaling with citric acid. DH is drilling holes in the bedroom to fit the new blinds. I think an afternoon of pottering and wafting maybe required.

Afternoon all.  So far today I have decluttered
- a shower and hair wash
- breakfast and meds
- the Easter egg tree, because the hazel leaves were wilting (but keeping the decorated eggs, of course)
- some events into my diary
- a decision to pay for the remaining slides to be scanned by a profession, as my time and energy are worth more than it will cost me and I've already got the money earmarked for family history
- church service and Annual Meeting
- coffee and a hot cross bun.

DH has just come home from his church's Annual Meeting so will be wanting lunch pronto.

I hope to finish weeding the drive border this afternoon, but Rosie is reminding me that she would also like a walk.
