Just in case anyone else finds themselves in the same situation regarding any residual cash not showing in an iWeb account for a number of days after transferring from X-O (even though the shares are showing) it seems that Jarvis have sent the cash in a series of bulk BACS transfers and its taking iWeb several days to sort and allocate this cash.  Would have been nice to have had a notification from either Jarvis or iWeb that that was what was happening (and would have saved a few phone calls no doubt).

Has anyone else lost the history/details on their X-O account following the transfer?  I can log into my account but cannot access any details or transactions (get an error message saying "Unable to get initial client for user xxxxxxx").   However, my wife who did a transfer on the same day as me can still see her transaction history incl the transfer out of the shares and the BACS transfer of the cash.

I have lost all access to my X-O account following the transfer to IWEB.

Does anyone know how long dividends paid to X-O after the stock transfer will take to reach to reach IWEB?

Be part of a bulk transfer in a few weeks time I'd suggest.  I'm going to have dividends that aren't due for payment until July to account for. Best to maintain a record of ex-div dates and then check as the money gets transferred across,

If the stock goes ex-dividend afrer transfer to IWEB then are the dividends credited to IWEB or could they still be routed to Jarvis?

Given it takes a few days for the transfer of UK shares, investment trusts and ETFs  to be registered. ( IWEB will show the stock in your account but you won't be able to trade it) .  All a question of timing.

Funds can take up to 2 - 4 weeks to be transferred.

My transfer to iWeb was completed on 7th May for my ISA account (not done yet though for the nominee a/c), but there were a couple of dividends received after that so it's still showing a cash balance. Anyone know if this will get transferred automatically or do I need to contact Jarvis? Also do we know if Jarvis will produced a tax statement for 2024/25 before they finally close?

If you requested a full transfer then the residual income should be forwarded on automatically. From past experience elsewhere, you may struggle to get a tax statement.

I'd say not. My GIA has now gone. No access to historic documents.

Just signed up to iWeb and about to start the transfer process and I get this message:
This is 'normal' yes - but I assume will delay the process a little?
In my Jarvis account it lists the shares I have - with a 'bought' price too.  I assume this is to 'help' if CGT etc. is relevant.  Is this information transferred across to iWeb too?
No, your history and avg price data is never transferred across brokers. The new broker will always show the buy price from the date they received your shares/stocks.
An update on this, I've not received any notification yet but just logged into my Jarvis x-o account and it was empty so logged into the iWeb one and it was all transferred on 19th May.  However for all of the stocks, the original book cost HAS been transferred across so it does list the Book cost, Current value, Valuation and the Profit/loss for all the individual shares.

Hello everyone, my first time posting although I have followed the forums for some time. I used this thread to make the decision to move my trading account from Jarvis to iweb.  It all went very smoothly however, I am still awaiting a couple of dividends to come through,  One was payable the 2nd week of May and the other the 3rd week of May. I phoned iweb who said to take it up with Jarvis, anyone else in a similar situation?  Just looking for guidance before I embark on what might be a wild goose chase.  Many thanks in advance
