Trading 212 US Tax Form

I was trying to get that free shares MSE40 offer. After opening the share account they're suddenly saying that due to a change in my information I need to fill in a form with the US IRS. I guess I must have screwed up and ticket something to suggest I have a US connection, or aren't a UK resident.
T212 say I should take professional advice. I'm not going do that for a £1 investment or even £40 free share, so I thought I'd ask here.
Here's what pops up, none of the three options are applicable ..

If you are a UK resident the first option is correct.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards. I expect you guys are correct but the way I read it I live in the UK, so the UK having a treaty with the UK doesn't make sense. I would have expected it to say I'm resident in country which has a treaty with the US.
And the fact that it popped up suddenly saying it was because my circumstances have changed doesn't make sense either.0 -
The form is a US form, and the US does have a treaty with the UK.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Credit Cards and Budgeting & Bank Accounts boards.
