Upgrade O2 SIm only via MSE Best O2 SIM

If you want to stay with O2 then you'd be wise to stick with the deal you have. O2's lowest price for new customers is an outrageous £19 for 3GB (doubled to 6GB for VM customers). You could get the upgrade deal described above but that's £8 and you don't need the 32GB.BlueonBlue said:Im not up to speed at all but mine is going up £1.80 I think on top of the £5
Was paying £5 for 2GB with O2 it was via the Virgin Media offer one year ago as with c-smiths post above ....I think ?
Obviously dont need alot of data so dont want to pay any more than £5
Can anyone advise on options ?
The other providers using O2 I've looked at (Tesco, Giffgaff, SKY) don't have deals cheaper than your £6.90.
Otherwise, other providers are available.....0 -
Thats a great overview thankyou... I would have to look at considering other providers or stay where I am .
It will just keep going up annually though so time to do some research it seems .
Now I need to find out who are the preferred suspects are to consider ?

It's only worth considering other networks if you can get a viable signal where you normally use your phone. If most of your use is local to your home then ask nearby friends/neighbours who they use/are happy with. Ignore the coverage maps that the networks use (unless your use is for remote areas), they are very optimistic.BlueonBlue said:Thats a great overview thankyou... Good deal, available as an "upgrade" and seems there's £11.25 available via TopCashback.Detail_Merchant said:

Hi, what option should I use if I have an O2 account but no current sim as I moved to lebara few months ago but want to go back to O2 ?
Should I use option 1 (Join O2, although worried that it may not accept my email address because it's already active) or option 2 (Take out additional line)
Thanks0 -
(2) sounds right to me. If they don't want you to add this plan to your account then it'll reject it, in which case go back with (1) and a different email address.0
