No surname issue while buying a property

Old fashioned paperwork may have to be relied upon as a result. So my current situation is, my bank, after back and forth interactions, has issued a mortgage offer with '.' (period) mentioned in the surname field (like: zsreech .) . My solicitor has now backed out, saying they don't know how to deal with my situation for AML(money laundering) checks.
Now I am checking with other solicitors by explaining my situation. My biggest concern is that I want to register the property with my correct name that matches my identity documents, so that I do not face issues in selling the property later. So, if I have understood your answer correctly, the registration should be possible with just my given name.
It would be really helpful if you could suggest any specific route/process my solicitor can use in my case.0 -
