When I got home last night, Mr KK cooked and with the light evening I progressed an OAT - moving the tonne bark of bark from the drive. Did another six barrowloads from the bag at the top of the garden to the copse at the bottom and started laying out paths in that area. Still not finished but progressed!

Joining if I may after reading about this thread on KK's diary.

Today's main OATs will be to respond to an email about something I'm selling for my dad and to call the broadband company to try and negotiate the price down.

My desk is in the bay window of the living room and there is so much clutter, much of which was moved here when we had a new kitchen last March / April. The visual noise is really disruptive and needs dealing with.  So focus over the next week will be on:

    - clearing storage box of random stuff x 6
    - finding a home for decorating items
    - moving TV up to bedroom
    - OH box of garage stuff moving to, well, the garage maybe?
    - paperwork reviewed and filed or put in pile to burn on wood burner

This morning I have booked a sight test, need to get my prescription to order cheap spare glasses as I have lost one pair and the other has lost one of its nose rests.

Parcel is on the doorstep for collection (there's also a lot of stuff that's been delivered cluttering it up, but it's pretty obvious which is which), so that will soon be gone.

Today's task is to make a decision on which company to send the ipad to, and get it packed up and on it's way. I've got a busy work day, and someone working in the garden, so I'm not going to set myself particularly ambitious targets today.

I didn't do the jet washing yesterday so I did it this morning. It got quite chilly even though it is sunny so I will do it again more thoroughly in a few weeks. It still looks a lot better than it did.

I also bagged up a big bag of clothes for donation and my husband dropped it off while I was doing the garden. :)

My task to day is to finally order a  metal watering can that I have been on about for ages. Can't find a nice one in any shops & garden centre is sooooo expensive. Not getting any more plastic ones as they crack to easily and end up in land fill.

I'm intrigued by this as I also find the plastic ones crack up after a while but the metal ones are so heavy once full. What type are you thinking of ...?

In terms of OATs the big ones for me are the bark bag emptying and the cupboard emptying to make space for the dishwasher.
I have a plan for the bark - just need the oomph to get it moved.
I actually don't know what is in the cupboard and therefore what could be done with it, so I pledge, here and now, to you, that this very evening, I will look in said cupboard so I can work out what to do with the contents .... update to follow!  ;)

@KajiKita - a pledge to us that you will be looking in your cupboard is a serious commitment.  Will check back later for your update.

I'm focussing on some garage sorting this week.  3 bags of bbq charcoal freecycled - we don't have a charcoal bbq anymore).  Huge bag of cushions being dealt with.  I have washed the covers and have the inners pegged on the line to freshen up.  Some are being kept as they will make a nice Christmassy refresh for the lounge.  The others will be freecycled tomorrow when they are clean and dry.  Gently nudging/coercing/nagging MrBC  to eBay a couple more items.  I can't pledge that any will be listed anytime soon but I live in hope.
