Pulled up more dandelions and shoved them in the garden waste bins.4

Aw, very good of you to freshen the cardi for the cat @Sallyforth 😁
When I had a wee garden @greenbee I was constantly astonished by how deep and sturdy dandelion roots are. I came to the conclusion I was never going to defeat them but that I could take pleasure in getting one over on them with a mow or a dig just when they thought the coast was clear2 -
Today I spent half an hour tidying up my recipe folder and filing recipes that I've been cutting out of magazines and newspapers. I was watching Judge Judy while I did it so it was both productive and fun.
I've added a new recipe, a forgotten recipe and a firm favourite recipe to this week's meal plan.
It's given us some good inspiration and whilst it took half an hour the pile of recipes has been accumulating for a few months.3 -

me cutting out make up ideas from
magazines as a teenager 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I've bought fabric for the study curtains and made the first one! Took several hours and I've only just finished (at 1am) but it looks great! One down, five to go 😬 (four of them are quite a lot smaller though, and as part of my struggle was laying out 5 metres of material, that will get easier as I use up more of it 😂)3

Maybe we need to start using the dandelions in our meals. Leaves - older, cooked; younger; in salads; roots dried and ground up as a coffee substitute. If you can't beat them, eat them.2

Debobbled two more cardis and washed them - it’s quite addictive! Neither item is posh but will make slightly more respectable garments to wear whilst pottering.
Retrieved the change of cushions for the cat tower from the loft (well DH did) and washed the mucky ones. Said cat tower was bought on a whim during lockdown when we had nothing to do and spare cash because we didn’t go anywhere. I looked online recently to discover the three cushions are now £49 each and the wicker tower is over £1k. This really shocked me - particularly when my two cats prefer an old plastic basket with a charity cushion and free blanket from Zooplus!
Spent a pleasant/stressful hour pricking out my morning glory seedlings which I fear I’ve overwatered as they’re a bit “leggy”. Taken the plunge and leaving them outside on a makeshift shelf - feeling hopeless and naive. That said a lovely lady popped her head over my fence to say how beautiful my garden was and it made her smile every day as she passed with her little dog. That made me swell up inside because honestly there are only a few flowers so far.

RIP Mum & Dad - thanks for helping me on my journey to be
Debt and Mortgage free from 20184 -
@Sallyforth - imagine how affronted your cats would be if you had insisted that they sleep in an old plastic basket with a charity shop cushion and hadn't provided them with a more upmarket choice to reject.
OAT avoidance today as I shredded some junk mail and filed away my P60's from pensions. I could excel myself by doing my 24/25 tax paperwork this month. Or that might be a step too far.4 -
Five receipt surveys. Not that impressive but the pile is annoying me!2
