Ordered a fancy Philips debobbler gizmo from the big river firm - thanking @pennysintopounds for the heads up. DH offered one month’s free Prime so took advantage to gain another 5% off four buys. How exciting I bought a new non-slip bath thing (a repeat buy since I slipped and broke my wrist a few years ago), a reel of self adhesive anti slug copper foil and 50 biodegradable seedling pots. Life simply does not get more exciting than this folks!
I also mended a hole in a jumper and washed another cardigan ready for debobbling.

A proper OAT tackled today.I have a cut flower bed in the middle of my veggie patch and I grew a herbaceous perennial blue flowered something and put two of them in the back of the that bed last spring. They grew huuuge and then flopped all over the rest of the bed! Not helpful ….
Today I dug them both up and moved them down to the wildie patch at the bottom of the garden and remembered to water them in.Really pleased to have got this done 😊

Almost finished fencing the veg plot (built the arches as well as getting the fence in place). Got the mowing done. Coats back on the coat rack, books back in office - not on shelves yet, as I need to finish the painting. But good progress.3

Great work everyone!I tackled the sideboard today instead of walking past and thinking that it is ridiculous to have a cupboard and 2 drawers that could be very useful. So now all my table mats are neatly stacked, the generous candle stash is tidy and I absolutely do not need to buy any more candles even when they look beautiful and smell glorious. I also sorted out our DVD's - yes we still watch DVD's. I found a couple of charity shop buys that we haven't seen yet so we can have a film and fakeaway Saturday this week. The whole tidy up only took about 15 minutes but has been on my to do list for 6 months since the sideboard came back from being dipped and painted in my favourite F&B colour.4

I did an OAT from before Christmas!! I had intended to do it in March, but didn't quite manage it. It was to try to get my garden camera working, it suddenly stopped working and wouldn't connect any longer last year. I finally charged it and tried again last night, it still isn't connecting so despite being pleased I ticked it off my list it does mean that I've had to buy a new one.
I also planted out two perennial kale cuttings that I had nurtured over winter.Debts 04/01/25 01/05/25

My OAT is to empty my large chest of drawers, clean, reorganise and declutter. I have ordered lining paper for the drawers which is being delivered today. I have taken everything out and cleaned the drawers so far.

Before I went out this morning I finished fencing the veg plot, planted some brunnera, and dug up some daffs that I'll be relocating to the veg plot. When I got back I brought in some kindling so I can light the fire in a minute, pulled up half a bucket of dandelions (before getting bored and realising it would take a lifetime to get rid of them all... but I will keep doing the odd few minutes every time I let the dog out for a wee during the work day), and slapped another coats of paint on the office wall - so that should now be done and I should be able to get the books up on the shelves tonight/tomorrow.

Cleaned a couple of pairs of shoes in the hope of selling them.
Went with Mr PIP to a family friends' to borrow her drill as we've taken down a block of coat pegs that were doing nothing and will reposition them on the kitchen wall where they can be used for easy access to light hanging things4 -
Debobbled the clean black cashmere cardi and used nearly a whole lint roll removing cat hairs too. Discovered yet another hole and just thought sod it (as in lump of soil okay). Little girl cat could obviously smell the refreshed jumper and promptly cuddled underneath as I binge watched some more All Creatures Great & Small.
What else - nowt really.
