Thanks for the comment!Coupon-mad said:Only to remove what I said.
You never want to refer to disputed case signage as 'clear and unambiguous'!
And please please stick around to do the Public Consultation!
Sorry what is Public Consultation? and where should I do it?0 -

Hi @Coupon-mad, Happy New Year! It looks like the case is transferred to my local court now, is this means the hearing will happen? This is to do with DCB Legal.

It wont happen unless they pay the hearing fee, which they don't usually do
No fee payment, no hearing
Wait for the official court order from Liverpool court to arrive in the post in due course, regarding what happens next4 -

Hi, I am now received a letter from Liverpool County Court - Notice of allocation to the small claims track. It is saying that I need to deliver the evidence to all parties 14 days before the hearing (04/Mar), the post was sent on 18/02 and I received on 20/02 so it's already passed the 14-days window when it was post. It was also not mentioned where to send the evidence, no email address. It is also saying that DCBL need to pay the court fee by 25/02 otherwise the claim will be stuck out.
Any actions I need to take right now?
Thanks in advance for any guidence!

You can find the email address by using the Gov.uk court finder (just ask Auntie Google) and of course you send it to the solicitor acting for the PPC, which will be on your claim form. Just send your WS as soon as possible with a covering note explaining the date of posting and date of receipt. Don't delay!

If you have not received their WS either, then they won't pay the hearing fee and they will now discontinue before 25th.
But we suggest you email a WS anyway, with exhibits, as coached in the second post of the NEWBIES thread. Do that on Monday morning and it will probably prompt the NoD which we need to see, don't forget!
Copy a recent one that includes Mazur v Speechlys (read up on it) and make sure you talk about this - below - and include your photo of the sign as an extra exhibit:
This place was free for ages and I usually come here for KFC/ food pick up. It was bit busy in KFC on that day that's why took 13mins. I recently visited this place again and found that the grace period is actually 15 mins, so I shouldn't receive the original letter in the first place
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi everyone, I only received N157 from Liverpool County Court, no WS from DCBL. I sent my WS to local court and DCBL on 20/02/2026 (the same day I received the post).
I still haven't heard anything back, since the hearing will be hosting in 2 days - 04/03, should I prepare and attend the hearing since I don't have any confirmation yet? I am a little bit confused now.
Many thanks for any advice!

DCBL are not involved here, its DCB LEGAL on behalf of Npc
You email your WS to the info@ email address for DCB LEGAL ( plus to the court you nominated too ) but you stated that you sent it to DCBL, which would be incorrect
You need to contact the court and see if the hearing is going ahead, or has been vacated, to expel the confusion
I would suggest that if DCB LEGAL have not sent you the WS, they are likely to have discontinued the case and emailed an N279 discontinuation document to your inbox or spam folder, same as almost everyone else
