Dust is fine as long as you don't move anything! DH changed the time on a carriage clock on Sunday and didn't put it back exactly where it had been so I had to dust the mantelpiece yesterday.
This morning I've done wordle in three, a work shift, dailies, walked Poppet, changed bedding and sofa throws and two wash loads are now on the line. Exercise class and pedicure later.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Thankooo @Natty68 for the lists this week…
Have done most of levels one and two, except wash the windows.. as my neighbour does this for me & I mow their lawn in return (did that last week) 😉
Loving the sunshine, yet it really does highlight the spots where I have been a wee bit slack with the dusting.. 😳🤭
@Honey_Bear I drew a 😈 on my mums sideboard in her back room on Sunday, she spotted it today 🫣 so, I’m in the dog house and that’s now my first job for her tomorrow when I visit.. 🤣
Washing x 2 done and almost dried on the line..
Bite size vanilla biscuits made..
Visited the GP with a weeks worth of OH’s BP readings (hoping for a reduction in heart meds) and collected a Vinty Parcel for my DS2, also picked up milk and goodies from the bakery.Nursing a sore throat and earache.. 😬 it needs to go away now.. 😑
Reading and rest planned for this afternoon.. 🥱😴"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇8 -
Don't talk to me about dust - decorator is sanding between paint coats so dust is horrific.
Stereo gone to charity shop with instruction book and remote control. Bag of 'personal care' items and brand new in packets tights, ankle highs etc from mum's stash gone to lady who runs refugee support group.
Rice pudding in SC for tea. Is a v. small sc and perfect for rice pudding especially if done on a low setting. One day I will test it out for jacket spuds.
Connections was horrific and I got 1 group

I've always assumed all Flyladies live in dust-free zones because they're Flyladies, so I don't feel quite so ashamed of the fact that this place doesn't see me flapping dusters around very often. Madam Mim - that'll teach you!Struggling to get to grips with one last website and the email change. I've had the runaround from their Contact form, their website, their Customer Services (who emailed the dead account) and then texted me a security code to a landline that Virgin doesn't send texts to any more, and tried phoning them but got the runaround with Choose Option 1 if ... and found their deadend. I've done hundreds of websites, or at least it feels like it, and none has been anywhere near this tricky.Absolutely unable to think things through any more because I'm exhausted so that's me for the day.Better is good enough.7

I'm a great procrastinator I'm afraid, so I'm going to have a go here if I may
Today I cleared the ironing from the 3 wash loads yesterday, including cotton bed linen from a king-sized bed – love well pressed pillow slips and clothes that's been dried outside. Gave my long haired GS dog a good brush he's been shamefully neglected of late, he and I can only tolerate 5 minutes at time, so I'm planning a 5 minute grooming session every day for the rest of the week until he's Cruft's fit.
I have cut the grass both front and back and have made a mental note of what work needs doing, eg weeding cleaning windows, tidying lawn edging. Noticed the car has a thick layer of dust over it from a neighbour who's had a new patio laid, cutting pavers is such a dusty business therefore a car wash is now on my mental list.
Sometime this afternoon I'm planning to hoover upstairs (hoover's already been carried upstairs), clean 2 bathrooms, bag up some winter weight clothes that's no longer needed, and tidy a cupboard in one of the bathrooms that's not been touched for 3 years and is now embarrassing.
Tomorrow I shall be giving the kitchen floor a hands and knees job to remove paint splashes and furniture scrape marks. Hoping to sow a bed of carrot seeds and will be wishing them all the best.
Thursday it's a Lidl shop. Transplant some tomato, pepper and pelargonium seedlings. Mulch strawberry bed with Strulch to help deter slugs and snails.
Friday is for hoovering downstairs, dusting and window cleaning, including the patio windows.
Saturday and Sunday hope to indulge myself in making a couple of summer tops/pants without feeling any guilt that I should be doing something around the house.
