Not sure if this helps q10 but 'a simple twist of fate' is quoted as the England teams fave song to listen to before batting (being by Bob Dylan) and is the title of a 2005 book about dylan,0 -

I get error when I try to go to this link."Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh" Cerys Matthews0 -
But Alastair Campbell is not a novelist and the clue says "two novelists". I don't think being ghost written is relevant.http://my.telegraph.co.uk/owen_platt/may_2007/the_book_of_blair.htm
that to me feels right, it is ghost written and goes backover his time.0 -
The Week in Arts: The philosophy according to iPod

Published: 15 October 2005
I have most belatedly become the owner of an iPod and have spent every spare night-time moment in the past week transferring tracks from CDs. It would have been a poor use of time to do this labour of love in daylight hours. As iPod users know, these are much better spent talking about your playlists than compiling or even listening to them. For what I have discovered is that the playlist has overtaken the record collection as the physical statement of one's values, loves, hates and philosophy.
That's strange, as the record collection is not only visible but also usually on show for dinner party guests to marvel at. The iPod playlist should be a private passion that no one else can see or hear. But what a shocking waste that would be. And so most of the conversations I have had over the past week have been about which albums I, and whoever I have been talking to, have put on our iPods, and, crucially, which tracks have not been included.
At least, those have been the conversations with the over-30s. The under-30s seem to be far more concerned with downloading tracks than transferring albums. Teenagers in particular swap downloads from friends. This could be because there haven't been enough years to build up much of a CD collection, and anyway they would be more interested in new singles releases than their parents. But sociologists and future students of the playlist as philosophical and personality statement might find a different reason.
The best examples of playlists as life statements are features in a new book, The Rough Guide Book of Playlists. This features playlists compiled by some of the great and good in music and some non-musicians too. A selection of these was published in The Independent yesterday.
I was particularly intrigued by the choices of the former England cricketer Ed Smith. His playlist was made of the songs that the England team listened to in the dressing room before going out to bat. Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run" topped the list. That's a clever choice, a rousing anthem which should fire up the boys, and a nice little pun on scoring intentions. But other songs on the list made me wonder how these guys won back the Ashes.
I personally share the England team's love of Bob Dylan's "A Simple Twist of Fate" and "Most of the Time". But, guys, these are not good songs for the dressing room. They are sombre and quite depressing. They also leave you brooding. I do not want my country's batsmen to take to the crease depressed and brooding. Let's assume that, after Mr Smith's departure, the rest of the side deleted these from the playlist. That would explain the Ashes triumph.0 -
im lost, lol
i think the thingy abve has creedance, but did it cover the 2005 ashes?
im gonna submit this later today and hope we have more right than others.#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
I can't believe we got the sun! That's brilliant - it was driving me crazy. I'm still laid up sick (in fact only just got out of bed), but am going to try to work on this a bit today.
Good work everyone!

according to me we're short of 1a or are we sticking with the one we've got or changing to the ghost writer, and 10 b or are we going with the Bob Dylan willis one?
Yep we still need the other part of 1
and we need 10 as well, if Zimmer men is the only one not printed in 2007 then we can keep that.
I hope nobody minds, but another site that has been trying to work this out is around - I have been hcecking that, and lots of them needed the sun, I have offered that in exchange for 1 or 10 if someone emails me

if they are thats bad, because ours have been freely available for everyone, as mse rules dictate, so they can just come along , lurk, nab our answers ! i do hope they trade, if not thats there loss im certain no-one is gonna get 100% on this, alot of these have links which the quiz makers would have found as a not so obvious cryptic type link.
this comp closes tomorrow, but as we dont have a closing time, we ideally need to chuck it in today, otherwise we might be too late.
we have to chuck some answers n for those last few, i think te post a few above has alot going for it.
sorry for ramble.#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
yep, they don't share all, they might answer a direct request for a particular answer, but in the main they seem to want to keep the answers to themselves! lol
I havne't told them about this site, so unless they are accidentally members of both they won't know about us lol
Much more fun our way!
