I will be glad when tomorrow comes, I am fed up of looking at titles about cricket and books about Blair and getting nowhere!
Someone mentioned Gordon but the question clearly states they're about Tony."Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh" Cerys Matthews0 -

Toniq - they aren't az team like us - it's a group of individuals, some of whom are sharing things freely and some who are just saying what they are stuck on but not giving the info on the ones they need.
The zimmerman clue came from there and a couple of others I've shared.
At present one of the people who knows the sun one is willing to swap their full answer to number 10 in private - which I'm going to go ahead and do.
Hope that clears things up

There is a book published 2007 by paul house called trivial pursuits. This features bob dylan as a celebrity character. The main characters are always talking about cricket averages etc (probably mention the ashes)
TRIVIAL PURSUIT - Beef Tea and Marlowe Philips are incompetent private detectives who are on a case that takes them through the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />USA, Mexico and finally to Spain. They are following the dangerous criminals Wilma and Lance, who are, in turn, trying to kill them. They run across some strange characters, like Boll Weevil, the Texan peanut farmer, Fat Al, the Mexican drugs baron, or Tobias Jugg, the captain of a tramp steamer, and several celebrities, such as Bob Dylan, Edgar Broughton and Captain Beefheart, together with a weird menagerie of animals. As they journey on they reminisce, talking about and criticising or praising such things as varied as cricket averages, Play-doh, Marcel Proust and Roger Whittaker. The mystery ends with a modern enactment of the last scenes of Hamlet.

That's something completely new to look at - thanks!0

I believe the 2 books for the question concerning the ashes / dylan link are :
Trivial pursuit by Paul House
Young Wisden - A new fans guide to cricket by tim de lisle - this is due to the fact that he wrote this book in 2007 and has written many articles about bob dylan. google his website.
I may be completely wrong, but there are that many coincidences on this question my head will explode.
All the best and good luckCrossing off my Bucket List. Not going to wait for a nod from the Doctor!!0 -
