my mistake…wasn’t a meeting so i haven’t been. Dementia care team have approved covert anti-psychotic meds so fingers crossed.
Been swiiming (self care) and pegged out washing and done tidying and dusting. Emptied DW.
WM locked and loaded

Morning all xx
I'm up, made my bed, dressed, turned over the calendars, taken my meds, packed my lunch, completed Strands with one hint, completed Wordle in four, completed Connections with no lives lost, supped a brew and eaten my breakfast.
DDil has added the wedding video onto Facebook....it made me cry (happy tears). Fantastic memories of the best day ever. And a kick up the derriere to tell me I have more chubbage to lose. Every silver lining has a cloud!
I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off for the paid stuff. My first full day in my new office, and my last week covering the role I've had for nearly twelve years.
Hope everyone has a good day.

Morning all,
All flying on hold here as the builders duly arrived yesterday and were prepping, channelling out electrics and plumbing. Today they are starting on plastering so little point in cleaning anywhere. Yesterday afternoon as they took down some of the ceiling they found a water leak from the bathroom above. Yep, from the lovely tiled and pristine (thanks to flylady lists) bathroom that is my sanctuary in a half bashed about house. It seems to be from one of the shower joints, and can’t be reached from under the bath…tiles have to come off…DH is seeing if their plumber can sort it for us. So the shower is off limits atm, we do have a small one in the ensuite so shouldn’t be too unclean, but hair washing is likely to be at the kitchen sink when I have the house to myself this evening.Just back from the allotment, not feeling the love there this morning, but I put in 1.5 hours. Every little helps, and all that. No washing here for line drying, as it’s all too complicated to manoeuvre around. Admin might get done this afternoon. It is Tuesday Admin Day after all.6 -
Oh Fayolle I'm so sorry about your lovely bathroom tiling. It's enough to make you weep with frustration when something is perfect but has to be changed.(((Hugs))) Valli. I hope some drugs can help your mother find her equilibrium again.Wordle in 3, I can't get past the first line on Connections and Strands was fine.I had such plans for today but I've had to shelve them. It's a beautiful day, the composter/s need emptying and I've got two rhubarbs that need repotting - that was the plan.Instead I spent the day on email admin because blue yonder is a pile of crap.Better is good enough.8

Humph…bit slow on here. Hope that means lots of Flying…
I have cleaned my bedroom. Bit of office decluttering. Knitting patterns from Pr1ma added to mums knitting pattern lever arch file…I have already separated patterns I know I won’t knit. I did find a lovely pattern for new great nephew which I have knitted and half sewn up. Must be finished by Friday. I think the patterns i don’t want are in the CS bag. Form for car tax found. I’ve had a quiet day today, minimal contact with family but I think I needed to reset. Tea towels and aprons from work washed and line dried. Urge to iron themresisted. They’ve been folded and bagged to take tomorrow. Other ironing done. DD didn’t come home so found a sad and lonely chicken Kyiv in the freezer for my tea. So that’s freezer decluttering. So all good.
Offered an A4 notebook to great nephew. And decided to find 2 others for his sister and brother. FERLINGG. one of them was from lil sis and she is no longer with us… see sig… so 10 years+ i’ve probably had that… I also have thrown wallpaper which i found when putting the box of spare kitchen tiles away…might, actually, stick them under the bath with the spare bathroom tiles…Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hello, I am an old newbie - used to come on here years ago but fell off the flylady wagon. My house is the worse for it and I’m giving myself a kick up the bum to try and get on top of it. It’s not bad from a clutter point of view but every room is in dire need of a good clean. It’s very overwhelming. And all I want to do all day is crochet (I make stuff to sell). Anyway, I’d love to join in again, if you’ll have me ?

Welcome back, Jimali. Morning all,
Sorry to disappoint Valli, but my radio silence was most certainly due to lack of flying. Today is a Will Do Better day, although I did do a couple of hours of admin as planned. The plan is to clean the en suite and dust / vacuum the bedroom. The intention is set out as I have already rescued the cleaning cloths from the dining room (don’t ask - builders…), and the vacuum cleaner from the study (ditto…). My car is parked down the road, waiting for the elusive skip to land on the drive. The last time, they nearly took out the front of the house so I’m taking no chances with my car.
I’d very much like to get the buttonholes and buttons completed on the tricky waistcoast that I’ve been sewing, but like Jimali and her crochet hooks, I find that the siren call of my sewing machine usually drags me away from flying. This morning I will resist - can’t vouch for the call of the allotment though 🙃.6 -
Good morning (and what a beautiful morning). Have done a few bits this morning -
- folded DS2 dry washing
- hung out DS1 wet washing
- put a load of washing on
- loaded DW
- cleaned surfaces in kitchen (DS1 cooks in the night so annoyingly its always a bit messy first thing)
- cleaned surfaces of downstairs loo
- cleaned downstairs loo
- cleaned downstairs sink
- hoovered the hallway
- washed filter for the hoover
- cleaned sinks in ensuite
- cleaned vanity unit in ensuite
- cleaned toilet in ensuite
- hung out wet washing
Was going to hoover the stairs but the hoover filter needed washing and now I have to wait for it to dry - annoying. Will do shower later when I'm in it (after exercising later).
Feel I have earned some crochet time! Got a free day today so hoping to get lots of work done on a scarf I'm doing for a menopause study thing, Hope everyone has a good day xx7
