Yes, for home delivery the minimum spend to get free delivery is presently £35, which I personally find very steep. However, if you have items delivered to an Amazon Locker, you can order any value you want and it's free delivery. It may say delivery in 5 days but items usually arrive next day

I have taken advantage of Prime Free Trials but always cancel them immediately in my Amazon account once activated so I don't get charged when the trial is finished and I still have to 30 days free delivery and all the extras to try, if I want to. However, with Amazon Locker delivery being free, I may only activate 1 free Amazon 1 month trial a year.

 @Dizzycap I tried getting it sent to an Amazon pickup, but the delivery charge was £2.99, is that different from a locker?

It’s worth it for me, but it depends if it’s worth it for you.

I think it depends where you live, but I’ve just done a test run and it wanted £2.99 to deliver to the post office I normally pick up from. I changed the pick up location to Amazon locker and that was free.  So you need to look in the delivery/pickup option specifically for Amazon locker.

There are usually 2 Amazon Locker delivery options: 1) Next day for £2.99 or 2) FREE 3-5 days Standard Delivery which in my experience, almost always arrives next day, except for peak times at Christmas. I've got a FREE standard 5 day delivery on an order placed yesterday which is presently out for delivery to an Amazon Locker today

Don't forget, another benefit is unlimited storage to back up all of your photos. It's basic but it is free if you have Prime

I have my renewal coming up in the next few weeks and was wondering whether to stop Prime or not. I just had a look to see what you get for the money and to be honest I think I am going to drop it this year. Thanks for the refernce that made me go look!!

The also had a version of Google Drive / One Drive and cancelled it with relatively short notice. I wouldn't bother personally with photos of any value.

Placed an order with Amazon just after 5pm yesterday and it arrived about 3pm today.

Chose the free delivery option and don't have Prime.
