I've had a current account and regular saver for about 4 months, the best ISA rate I can get is 4.4% 😢

Underlying rate is 4% now, so by the looks of things, it will drop to that in a few days, rather than 3.8%. Zopa website now showing rate at 4%.

I had an email from Zopa today saying they have increased their ISA to 5.21% so I've started a transfer from Moneybox (currently 4.2%).

It's not their ISA rate, it's the ISA rate they are offering to selected people, you being one of them. Anyone who has had a ZOPA ISA before can only get a substantially lower rate.
I opted for the zopa three month ISA at 5.01%, logged on to check up on an ISA transfer and found that my ISA pots were now at 5.21%, without having received an email.

Have previously held a Zopa ISA and transferred it out when it became uncompetitive.

The new rate didn't last long. I had an email today saying it was dropping to 4% from 16 June 2025  :(
