mrs dcm has these anker earbuds , she swears at by them https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CTJR2C5X?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_2&th=1 £59.99

I would be really worried about them slipping off.
Mrs dcm reports she has no problems with them, of course I would have been aware of that without asking, nearly 3 months of use thus far.👂🎧

    Have a look at Sony WH-CH520 ...
    I'll second this suggestion.
My youngest has a pair of these and seems to live in them. No problems in almost two years of use.

I’ll third. Great headphones for the money. I use them daily. Can connect two devices simultaneously which is handy for personal and work phones.

I don't suppose you could give me the measurements of the bit that sits on the ear could you please?

I don't like in-ear and many over-ear are too bulky so I went with bone conduction and selected these https://www.johnlewis.com/shokz-openmove-bluetooth-wireless-open-ear-headphones-grey/p110575797. I use them mainly while out walking or in the gym and they're generally fine, although heavy traffic noise can drown out the sound.
I've used Shokz for years cycling, running and in the gym.  They used to some with earplugs, which I've used wearing them on trains, though their latest model didn't.

You can get refurbished ones from Shokz for £59, with 10% off your first purchase if you sign up for their newsletter to get a code; the disclaimer on the discount popup says"This discount only applies to OpenRun, OpenMove, OpenSwim and OpenFit." so I can't be entirely sure it applies to refurbished kit.

Another shout for these, had mine from Amazon marketplace, I also recommend them as an ENT Practitioner

I’ve always struggled with ‘in ear’ buds - falling out and uncomfortable to wear - but decided to give Ear Fun Life ones a go from Amazon as a full refund is given if they don’t work out. They’ve got lots of really good reviews, 3 different sizes of ear rubber caps and only £18! Very happy to say I’m extremely impressed with them - comfortable to wear all day, easy to pair to several devices, a free app to set up configuration to suit you and to play around with the sound if you want although the default setting is bloomin’ good. So I’d say order them, give them a try and if they don’t suit you can just return them for free for a full refund!

I'm in the same position re wanting earbuds to eliminate wires but I've bought 2 pairs now and they both soon fall out when I'm being 'active' and presumably moving my head more. My daughters suggested spending about £100 on some samsung ones as I have a samsung phone but I'm wary about spending that much if they're going to fall out. They're not things you can really return if that's what happens are they, I assume a return wouldn't be accepted for hygiene reasons.

I have never owned a pair of ear canal phones that were comfortable; I've gone through about 5 sets in the last 10 years.  The Soundcore ones were comfy but they never stayed in when walking.

I now have a pair of Soundcore Q20i which are amazing.  I would get those (I got them on amazon deal day for £35).  I have tried £300 Sonys and some £150 xbox ones, and the Soundcore ones are just as good.
