Morning everyone.
I had a good evening last night and listed loads of books and even had one sell over night! not a massive amount, but every little helps and all that. Hopefully the rest will go just as quickly.
So I have one to post today and another to go tomorrow assuming nothing else sells today. I am determind to reclaim the space under my bed from the storage boxes!!
I have to get lunch at work again today as I couldn't be bothered to make my own, very bad Lucy! I spent some of my vouchers last night which was really good fun, all the joy of shopping and none of the cost.
Another busy day at work today and my boss is about so I'm sure it will be 10 time worse than normal. and I don't feel very well, feeling all sicky again, I'm sure I am trying to not come down with something. Anyway I'll be fine, right off to do some work and will check in again later.
Have fun xxCurrent debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Right I have come up with a master plan and thought I would try and get a credit card to pay for my laptop.
At 29.9% APR I pay masses of interest on it and I thought I'd try capital one as they have a 0% on balance transfers and purchase until Nov 08 and then only 9.9% APR after that. What is the worst that can happen I thought, they reject me and I carry on as normal.... So I applied.
And.....
I got accepted :D I am now the terrified owner of my very first credit card!!!
And I can pay off my laptop credit and move it onto 0% (when it all arrives) I think I am in shock, I honestly thought that they would say no.Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -

:rotfl: Thanks!
I've calmed down and looked at the credit limited (i don't know what mine will be yet) but the min is apparently £1,500!!!! (max is £16,000 )I don't need any more that this.
Oh and I PROMISE to leave the card at home and not spend on it!!:A I've told Mum and while she hates the idea of credit cards she understand that I will be paying less interest and therefore saving myself money which she is happy about.

Oh I will be, I will probably give it to my Mum or keep it with my A and L account card at home which I don't use. I am determind to use it for my Laptop and then only in real emergencies (Like my car needing real work!)

Would it not have been better to get an ugly one - so you'd never dare take it out?
