    Thanks.

    Hey Lucy,

Good luck for a getting towards debt free 2008, isn't it great whenyou are actually in a position to make overpayments towards ANYTHING, instead of struggling to meet the minimum payments....

Am sure your weigh in will go well tonight, and welcome to your new diary! :D

I need to get my budget really under control, but after the 'discussion' with OH on NYE/NYD I think that will be easier as we have both decided that we need to cut spending and save/overpay as much as possible.

It's not going to be a debt free year just yet, but it will be a OD and Laptop debt free year! (which is nearly as good!)

I'm sure weigh in will be fine, I would just like to lose something, I've been really struggling recently so a loss would be a good start to the new year!

    Morning all.

I weighed in last night. And I have put on a pound, but as that was over Christmas and New Year I'm pleased with that. So I have my next one on Monday (then I'm back to every monday) and hopefully I can try and lose something. I have had an omlette for breakfast and I will have jacket potato and beans for lunch.

My money transfer has gone in, so I am all set to pay Mum her rent on Monday :T I was a little worried it wouldn't go in in time. I spent £1.50 on the Slimming World magazine last night, but as I get it at class I save on the shop price. I will be getting lunch as work today, as I over slept and didn't have time to make anything .

Pressie from the states was a really nice thermos mug loads of hot chocolate, coffee and a Godvia chocolate latte thingy. I just need to order and post her pressie and I will be all done until next year!

I have another busy day today, but it's really hard as most of the people i need to speak to aren't back in the office until Monday  Which means I have to try and stall people my end, and they never seem to think I am telling the truth!

    Hope everyone is ok x

  • Well done for keeping weight stable over xmas - its the hardest time. I'm on health kick too - bought an evening dress in sale (£19 bargain) for a dinner dance im going to in Feb and its a little snug! Could do with being half a stone lighter by then!

I've spent the last couple of days fobbing people off too. I deal with companys in the US quite a bit and they don't seem to understand the concept of 'holidays' as being legitimate!!

I have a friend from Uni who married an American and they get something like 14 days holiday a year!! I get 25! It's stupid really.

I think places have either closed or people have taken holiday, I deal in commercial property so it's a bit hit and miss.

Aw, congrats on the only putting on a pound thing!

I see the future! You will lose loads of weight and you will clear lots of debts in 2008! :D

Grrr it's really busy in the office today and I have loads to do, so I am going to try and no post to much this afternoon. I need to get shot of some of my jobs, I can't really be bothered though.

Still I will feel better with them gone and I need to start the year as I mean to go on, especially if I am trying to get work to pay for me to do some sort of course.

Will it's lunch at 12.30 so I will continue to post until then. :D
