With all the Natwest Group incentives I recall existing customers have been allowed to benefit by switching in to an existing account, so even if you opened the account before the first of these offers in 2017/18, you could still have benefitted.0 -
I think that now that it is 15 days since I met the criteria that they don't believe I am eligible for the switch. Does anyone know if they will contact me to tell me that?
You have, after all, applied to switch a bank account to them - not applied for a cash bonus.
They'll generally be able to explain why you were excluded if you ask (unless you already know, of course).0 -
FLAMPARD said:So as I understand you can set up a direct debit with PayPal and make at least 2 £2 payments to get the £5 reward as well as paying in the monthly £1250 ? With a use of the app at least once a month Is that correctBased on the Switching T&CWthn 60 days of your switch completing, you must: (4)• Pay £1,250 into your eligible account. Ths can be made of multiple payments into your eligible account, and• Log into our moble app. Ths can be done on any devce that supports the NatWest MobSo nothing here say it will need to be done for each single month. As the meet this £1,250 is very easy, to be in a safer side, good to have it every single month until the reward is paid. That is what I am doing anyway0

I can see in the T&C it states:
"Request and complete a full switch of a current account that is not with NatWest, RBS, or Ulster Bank to your eligible account using the Current Account Switch Service online or via the mobile app from 11TH March 2025. The switch must include closing your current account held elsewhere and moving any payment instructions to your eligible account"
Would i be able to switch but keep my old account open, with some direct debits staying with my old bank?0 -

Would i be able to switch but keep my old account open, with some direct debits staying with my old bank?Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

Is it ok to pay the £1250 in before the switch completion?0
