"• You won’t be eligible to earn £150 if you’ve ever received cash from a NatWest, RBS, or Ulster Bank switch offer before."1

That's a new one. Still, I'm curious to see how well they enforce this between brands, given historically they haven't been the best at doing so in the past.bsms1147 said:"• You won’t be eligible to earn £150 if you’ve ever received cash from a NatWest, RBS, or Ulster Bank switch offer before."1 -
If I read rightly, the £1250 paid in has to stay in the account for 24 hours. I don't know how that is measured. Is it by calendar dates or even to the minute. But potentially people who cycle money through various accounts only for the money to return to the original account may have some timing issues. No idea.0

This is the gamble I guess. I have received from both NatWest and RBS in the last decade. Surely they would trace at least one of those.PRAISETHESUN said:

I received all 3 NatWest Group bonus payments last year so I'm not eligible.0

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

How does NatWest fare?
Been with Lloyds for years now and no major issues. Haven't been offered anything for years now.
Have a Monzo card and use that account for day to day things with Lloyds for salary and direct debit only.
I've a NatWest credit card that works really well for me - good interest rate, no FX fees etc.
Tempted just to jump ship as other than familiarity, there's nothing holding me back.
£150 is tempting, but are there any issues with the bank itself?
I e. downtime, payment issues etc

This may not be a problem for you. But customers are limited to a £2k bank transfer limit unless they use their smartphone. May even need to use facial recognition. Haven't tried a larger value transfer by calling customer services.stewartwilliams said:How does NatWest fare?

Don't really do £2k transfers, and use online banking through the app 99% of the time anyway.lr1277 said:

Branches don't cater for people who can't nip out of work between 10am-3:30pm, assuming there's one anywhere near you anyway.0
