If you have a joint account, will both people get it - as happens with Fairer Share.  I’ve had an email but husband hasn’t.

There have been several reports of one person getting notification but the other not.  But you just have to wait. As you both will eventually. Mrs Z-man didn't get notification until this evening, for a joint account I had notification on first thing this morning,

I've had the notification of the £50 payment in the app but no email. I didn't qualify for the fair share payment last year and I realise why.
Now here's the problem, I only have a Flex saver account with a zero balance, been like that for over a year. If they pay the £50 into that I'll have to open a current account to access it.  I wouldn't qualify for a switch incentive if I switch an account in, already too close to my last incentive with them. I'd just have to open current account otherwise to access the £50.
Do you think they'll send me a cheque instead?

I got the email. First time, as I missed out last year.  Was gutted as only just fell short of paying in £500 one month and it was £100! (so I'd set up a standing order to move £500 Jan/Feb/Mar this year).

Not sure what the criteria is but I read you needed £100 in a savings account too so I made sure to have that too (despite the low % after bonuses expired)

you are mixing this up with the fairer share program.  this one is specifically because of the Virgin takeover.

Although you won't qualify for a Switcher incentive, last year switching in a current account between 1 January - 31 March met part of the eligibility criteria for the Fairer Share payment. You also needed to have £100 in a savings account at the enf of any day in March.

If you were to act quickly, you could switch in an account, and add another £50 to your savings. If the Fairer Share criteria are the same this year (they may change!) that would make you eligible. It may be worth doing, there's nothing to lose except a bit of effort, and then at least you'd have a current account to access the £50.

We got individual emails at the same time. Jount a/c & shared email address.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.

    Well, I've received the email

Surprised, as I didn't think I had any live accounts with them.

Definitely not any money in any.

Probably a maturity saver following an old reg saver etc.

My log in doesn't work and I've destroyed the cards .

Hmmm might have some hoops to jump through.

Will wait for the confirmation text

Is it going to be a pain to access?
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)
