Got that message myself when I logged in this morning. It’s a nice surprise.Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both. :cool:1 -
Got the £50 email & interesting to note that this is in addition to any fair share payment & due to some financial juggling may well not be taxed. So fingers crossed on the cash ISA amount.0

3 days for me. Would’ve been nice but it’s no big deal.grandadgolfer said:Missed out by 5 days never mind0 -
Taxable next year - I would have run out of personal savings allowance if it was paid out before the end of the tax year.wiseonesomeofthetime said:Taxable, so worth £40 for me, but not going to complain as it is still free money 😊

Other way around for me, opened a Flex Direct 25th September and chucked in the £1500 + £100 into the saver to start the fair share qualification habit, nice £50!grandadgolfer said:Missed out by 5 days never mindSam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

This is a welcome surprise. I have not used the account once and the debit card just sits in my drawer collecting dust. I only opened the account to receive a £200 switching bonus in January 2024. That £200 switching bonus has made me eligible for this additional £50.1

could someone refresh my memory or link to chat about the "fair share scheme" please? i stopped using my NW account so much recently and wanted to check previous qualification criteria. thanks.
edit: looks like going by last years criteria i have missed the boat this year

The criteria haven't been set for this year yet, but last years are the best to go by as it's been the same the last few years they've offered it. As a workaround if you've missed the transaction criteria for your current account throughout Jan-Mar, there's still just about enough time to complete a CASS switch which may also meet the requirements. The savings criteria is easier to meet.pfpf said:could someone refresh my memory or link to chat about the "fair share scheme" please? i stopped using my NW account so much recently and wanted to check previous qualification criteria. thanks.
