Hi There
I have returned from business travel. In my post is a claim from DCB Legal with an issue date of 27 Feb. This evening I've been fumbling around attempting to submit my acknowledgment of service online, however my Government Gateway details aren't at hand and in my attempts to reset them online, i received the message to call them during office hours to reset them. So I'm concerned that I will run out of time. Could anyone advise if I still have time to do the AoS by post, or if there is another workaround please?

Email it to the AOS email address shown in the defence template thread, to the CNBC in Northampton2

With a Claim Issue Date of 27th February, you have until Tuesday 18th March 2025 to file an Acknowledgment of Service('AOS'), but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it.To file an AOS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.Having filed an AOS in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 1st April 2025 to file a Defence. That's over three weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute. To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the AOS guidance.Don't miss the deadline for filing an AOS, nor that for filing a Defence.
Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an AOS has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.2 -
Thank you Gr1pr & KeithP!1

Hello again, please can the forum experts provide guidance to me on the recommended defence wording in response to the claim against me. I have redacted the personal information - please see below:
Would I take the response from the standard template that I have seen in a number of areas on the site when doing recent background reading etc. Thanks very much in advance for continued support provided on here0 -
Too many redactions
Post the issue date from the top right
Post the claimant name
Post a redacted picture of the POC on the lower left of the claim form after hiding ONLY the VRM details first1 -

Phew!
Just use the template defence then, with the standard (linked in the thread) shahib_02 paragraph 3, with the dates of PCN issue changed.
Why 2 overstays? Disabled driver/passenger?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
