What happened when you phoned the local court? You mention phoning the CNBC but they are an admin centre, not the hearing court. The CNBC aren't involved.
Did you email the hearing court?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I have searched a number of different ways to establish the DIRECT number for Xxxxx County Court this morning and I also asked GPT and the number that comes up each time is 0300 123 5577 (Enquiries - National Contact Centre for Civili & Family Court).
So I called again and very happy that they picked up straight away - no queue.
The very helpful member of staff explained that from his end he did see that the court has put a note on the system from 7th Nov that my email of 22nd October has been lodged, however there are no further notes on the system at this time. He added that in his experience, there could be an adjournment. He added that the only other way to escalate would be <24hrs before the current hearing date OR if the processing time of 19 weeks has passed (today it is 8 weeks since the allocation of hearing letter, and 19 weeks will actually surpass the hearing date). I asked if he had visibility of whether the claimant had paid the trial fee, and he said that he could not see that it had.
The court is not that far away, and I'm of the mind to drop in and ask at the counter, although the web info does say that this should be by appointment only, for which I actually cannot see how an appointment would be scheduled.
Thanks in advance for any further guidance.0 -

Surprisingly just received an email response from the Team leader at Xxxxxxxx County Court 20 minutes ago (on a Sunday evening).
The emails apologises for the delay in responding to emails. And goes on to say that they are currently experiencing a significant backlog of applications and correspondence at (and then refers to a completely different court).
Here is the relevant extract from the email:
'Upon reviewing your N180 Directions Questionnaire, I note that in Section F4 you listed the following dates as unavailable:- X-XX Month
- XX & XX Month
- XX Month - XX Month
- XX-XX Month
- XX-XX Month
- XX Month - XX Month
This is sending me around the bend, and it seems to be a completely futile effort. Can anyone provide any quick suggestions because this is taking up so much time. I do not have the money to follow the process of filling in the N244 form. It just beggars belief that this can be happening.1 -
