Transfer completed today, so that's 6 working days. The money is in the Paragon account although I've not received any notification from either party. CMC account is still open.slinger2 said:I've initiated a transfer to Paragon. However I've no idea whether it's going to work. It's all gone quiet.3 -
I'm starting the transfer from CMC to Shawbrook - what is the sort code for CMC to use?0

I tried leaving the sort code blank on the Shawbrook ISA sign up page, but it is a required field and doesn't let you proceed.slinger2 said:
For my transfer to Paragon I didn't give a sort code (left it blank), just the 8 digit "Account ID" (in "Your account details").SamDude said:I'm starting the transfer from CMC to Shawbrook - what is the sort code for CMC to use?
I ended up opening the ISA without a transfer-in, and then filling the paper form and emailing it back to them.
Hopefully it is processed within the next few days0 -
Trying to get my CMC ISA to Chip but looks like I need a provider in the middle. Any recommendations?0

I’ve just opened a Shawbrook (fixed 1yr ISA) this afternoon initiating a transfer from CMC. I managed to open up the ISA online. I filled in the CMC info by tapping on Add Cash then Manual Bank Transfer. That then gives you CMC Markets Investments sort code and account number. Then your own Reference which is your Account ID.SamDude said:I'm starting the transfer from CMC to Shawbrook - what is the sort code for CMC to use?The rest of the Shawbrook application followed on and opened my account taking less than five mins. I’ve no idea if the transfer will now follow through without any issues. Fingers crossed. Will update on the timescale.Plumped for a fixed rate for first time in a few years after chasing highest rates and exhausting the competition.1 -
To add to the above because CMC isn’t part of the electronic transfer scheme the transfer is to be done manually so Shawbrook sent me the relevant form to print out sign and post or email back to them which I’ve also done today.0

Glad your transfer went through quickly. Did you go for a fixed rate with Paragon ?slinger2 said:

Yes. I'd opened a 15 month fix at 4.28% AER just before they pull it. I was going to fund it with another Paragon ISA but after the big rate cut email from CMC I decided to fund it from there instead.DodgerPot said:
