Hi again, why did i think your folks were involved somehow? Sorry!

Re the bloke, relate sounds really good, if he is willing to go then i am impressed as not many blokes would really entertain the notion... i know mine certainly wouldn't. We had a rocky patch middle of last year and i almost moved into another flat, had keys n everything but in the end he said enough for me to stay. Some of my friends thought(think) i should've made the break when i was so close but i'm glad i stayed... see more selfish natterings! well no, not really, the point i was trying to make is that sometimes changing your mind and letting him back in can be a great thing, as long as changes are made and it's on your terms. I felt a bit foolish when one moment i was asking people for furniture and the next i was staying, so i can relate to how confused you must be feeling.

Re the drink thing, i think one a day is not going to kill you, and maybe it's part of your coping strategy at the moment... so don't beat yourself up about it. you'll probably find the desire will pass anyway as things settle down again...

30? you young whipper snapper you!!! I'm almost 34!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • Ha Ha! whipper snapper! I like that!

Actually he arranged relate. I think we both have to work out how not to argue. There's a lot of background to everything - too much to explain, but he lives 'for the moment' to silly levels and some silly things have happened which I have found extremely hard to deal with.

So we argue and it gets out of hand.

apart from that, we are wonderful and I mean perfect in every other way...
I'm just hoping we can get the tools we need to move forward... it's been a terrible year.

I just want us to sort it out and MOVE ON!!!

phew! sorry! rant over! ha ha!
    speak to you soon...
I'm going home for a beer!

    Hiya LP

Hope you and your OH manage to sort things out. He is a brave man ideed to volunteer for Relate!

I too am a lightweight on the booze, a few glasses of wine and I am telling everyone how much I love them!!:p Still the occasional glass of Asda Baileys never did anyone any harm:rotfl: Still I am on a huge health kick at the moment and alcohol is for weekends only:eek:

OH is begining to regret asking me to go on a diet with him as I am way more militant than him after watching the recent programs on Ch4.

Anyways hope all is well! Does this mean that the trip to New Zealand is back on?

I don't know what'll happen to be completely honest and mayb 6 weeks apart is what we need.
I just don't know at the moment... *sniff*

Oh, and if I do go, it'll only be for a couple of weeks and he'll have to pay for my ticket!
    I'll keep you posted obviously!

    Much love,
