  • Hi guys, nothing to report today.

Mum and I booked a last minute deal to the Canary Islands. We leave next week and return on Valentine's day (you should have seen dad's disappointed face... bless him!).

It should be warm-ish... 21oC? That'll do nicely!

Mum was so lovely to treat me to this holiday... can't wait to go... it's our first holiday together, just the two of us! :D

REfund hasn't arrived yet... oh well, no biggie!

    Hope everyone is well...

  • Just checked my amazon account and the automatic bank transfer they do every month has just gone through...that's another £2.62 on my old overdraft...
I have my amazon & ebay profits paid straight into my old overdraft account.

Old overdraft total is now £195.93!!

  • ooopppss!!!! double post... see below
  • Hi lilmissmup... WOW! you did really well with the 'make £10 a day in Jan' challenge!!!
    That's fantastic!
I've signed up for the Feb challenge... ekk! I have NO idea how I'm going to do it!

So, the desk opposite to me at work the guy who used to sit there (it’s empty now) left loads of mess…. And along with it, loads of coppers and 5ps… it stares at me everyday and I know my sealed pot wants them!!! I know no-one would miss them, but I can’t bring myself to take money which isn’t mine!

No refund again today… I was hoping to have it paid back soon so that I can get rid of my credit card… humpff…

On the upside, I’ve got .85p to put into my sealed pot from change in my wallet / bag… I wonder how much is in there!?! My pot is about one third full now, so might have to get another pot in a few months…
Really want to open it and change it up though!

Looking forward to the holiday with my mum and I think I should have most of the week covered with holiday pay which is good as my holiday pay is accrued per week (I’m a temp).

Need to have another look at my budget soon… maybe this afternoon. I’ve become somewhat slack the last couple of weeks. I’ve been a good girl, but a little bit slack…

So near another £10 voucher with Pigsback… but there are NO clickthroughs at the moment – very annoying!

I see that you can get Piggypoints for opening an A&L savings account at the moment, but as I’m already a customer, I don’t think it’ll work for me… might be worth a try though!

    hope you're well,
    LP

  • Hi guys…
    Nothing to report today sadly.

All hyped up for tomorrow when I start my February challenge to make £10 per day… think I might start by doing lots of clicks etc and looking for money back deals on cash back sites.

Think I might try entering some competitions too…
It’s going to be particularly hard for me to do this challenge as I’ll be away for a week from next week on holiday with my lovely mum. Eek!

Also, if I can tonight, I’m going to make a list of things to put on eBay tomorrow and take photos etc.

    Hope you’re all well!

    Lots of love,
    LP
