I go on March 5th and return on 19th..

REally quick visit, but I get to go to BOTH weddings, see the 'in-laws', plus various friends in Christchurch AND Wellington...

I am SO excited I can't tell you!
Only 16 more sleeps until I go!

YAY YAY YAY!!!!

Mr Pickle called me from Japan yesterday morning and he's SO excited too!!!!
oh I just can't wait...
you know, I don't even care that I HATE flying and have to go on my own... I just don't care!!!!!

COME ON!

My mum is really happy for me... she reckons that as I won't have seen Mr Pickle for 5 weeks, I should try and really make an effort on my apperance... you know, hair, make up, skin, tan...

I have £30 in boots vouchers from Pigsback to spend, so I can stock up on face cream, make up and fake tan!!!!

You know, I think it's a great idea... I can practice my make-up at night times and do fake tans etc... and at least it'll take my mind off the last hour or so of the flight when I go... I'll be busy doing my hair / face etc ready for Mr Pickle to meet me at the airport!

Sorry for rambling... but I'm just SO excited...
also, mum was right, absense does make the heart grow fonder.. this time apart was good for Mr Pickle and I... you wouldn't believe the lovely emails and phone calls I've been getting..

He called yesterday morning 'because I really wanted to speak to my girl and I couldn't concerntrate on my snowboarding... I had to speak to you... I miss you so much..'

How sweet is that?
I don't mind that he called at 6.45am yesterday morning!!!! AFTER A HEN'S NIGHT TOO!!!!! Ouch!

Hi all…
As I’m going away, I’m going to have to work out exactly how much I can save before I go.
2 paydays before I go and another payday 2 days after I leave.

At the moment I have, in my wallet, hang on…
£15.68.

I am going to see how long I can live on that for… this includes food. But I have a few bits and bobs I’m sure I can eat for the next 2 days (oo eck! That’ll be tough!)
This means living like a hermit and no going out!

I’m hoping to make it last 2 weeks… I wonder if I can do it??
I am going to write down everything I spend on here to keep track of where it’s going.

Edit - OOOO!!!! I just remembered! I have about £25.00 on my nectar card if I get really desperate!

I have been paid holiday pay for my trip away with mum... this changes EVERYTHING!!!!

Woooo hoooo!!!!

I now no longer have to worry about too much!
Still have to be a good girl though...

I've got my boots vouchers and there's a massive boots a bus ride away from my house so I'll be in there getting fake tan / make up for the weddings etc

I also have 2 vouchers for next from back last year at a total of about 60.00 that I forgot about... I've seen some nice courdoury trousers in there for 25.00 so I think I'll have them... and maybe find a nice long floaty skirt for NZ!!!!

I should be sorting out my car claim (from Dec 06!) as the woman has only just admitted liability so I should get 700 pounds for having lots of dents in my car and then have to spend 36 pounds to confirm the vehicle hasnt had a dodgy engine put in and I can keep the car! So there is my holiday money!

I am hoping I can go somewhere nice, although not New Zealand but hopefully Mexico or somewhere nice and hot and outside of Europe!

hey guys... only 9 more sleeps to go and then I get on the plane and see Mr Pickle!

Just one thing, the realisation of getting on the plane, alone, has just sunk in.... I'm getting nervous now.

I don't know why I'm scared, but I just am. I know it'll be fine, I mean it's only about 23 hours in the air, but it's the whole thing. Packing alone, going to work, then the airport alone, transfering in Japan and NZ on my own... I've never done any of that before, so I'm a little scared.

But I've got lots of rescue remedy etc.

Also, just in case I lose all of my luggage, I'm going to have to take on my dress for the wedding, make-up etc etc as well as stuff for the flight. I'm thinking I get myself lots of food. and maybe some booze, so I can try and knock myself out and sleep as much as possible.

It's a night flight, so if I can sleep, as much as possible, I'll be as perky as possible when I get there. Maybe have a late night the night before I leave...? not that I'll get ANY sleep, I should imagine!

Ooo, I'm so nervous! I hate turbulance!

ooo! less than a week! :j

talked to Mr Pickle on-line last night. he had a webcam his end so I got to see his gorgeous face and also the pleasure of watching him eat a cheese sandwich!!! hahahha!!!

he's in good spirit and he can't wait for me to get over there!
our chat made me feel much better (I've been feeling a bit, well very lonely these last few days).
