The claim form is dated 23/7.
Then you complete the AOS online on MCOL ASAP,  if not done already,  via your government gateway account

Your defence deadline submission date is 4pm on 26th August,  not the 11th

Copy a very recent paragraph 3 from a similar Moorside Legal case, adding it into the new defence template
  • Thanks. I completed the AOS on MCOL yesterday afternoon and I imagine I will receive an acknowledgment of that and further instructions?

I’m struggling to see a similar Moorside case that I can copy from, do you know of one or is it a case of simply trawling through them?

You wont receive an acknowledgement,  your MCOL claim history will be updated accordingly

You won't get further instructions either,  your instructions came in the N1SDT claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL,  by post so you already have the CNBC version

Your shortcut regarding instructions is to follow the new 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum by coupon mad,  using the kindly posted template defence where 90% is already written for you,  adapt paragraph 3 and when assembled follow her instructions to the letter, no deviation,  no imagining, no assumptions

You could use the search box, Moorside Legal, alter the search dates to say 16th july to present,  and filter the results , study their paragraph 3

Or trawl through the pages looking for Moorside Legal cases,  ( or any others with Chan and Akande in, preferably within the last 2 weeks,  for up to date advice,  like this current one

    Or this one when drafted

By looking, reading and studying the cases, you learn, which assists you with your own problem

Just read any on the first few pages. It's not trawling, it's a cinch. Takes maybe half an hour to find a handful. Just look at the thread headings.

  • Thank you. I had a voicemail from Moorside today inviting me to contact them if I wanted to avoid further legal action. They are fairly relentless in their approach.

They all are, ignore them,  block them

Get on with drafting your defence,  don't get sidetracked

  • A question please (again): I am I am drafting my defence, do I submit by email or through MCOL? I assumed MCOL in which case I am concerned that there is insufficient space but there has been some discussion here on this and I would be grateful for clarification. Thank you.

Definitely not by email,  forget email for now

You will copy and paste your final defence into the defence box on MCOL,  save, and submit it

If there is insufficient space,  you either cut it down more, making it more concise,  or you can delete the last paragraph,  but it has to fit into the 122 lines,  so concise,  not war and peace
