Remember... not everything you read is the truth. If we were in liquidation then i wouldn't be writing this now! We have just taken over Zenith Staybrite to become the largest home improvement company in the uk and I know that we do everything in our power to make people happy with our company and its products and service. Good Luck to all

    Kind Regards WSHoldings

WSholdings, weatherseal have not just 'taken over' Zenith Staybrite. Zenith Staybrite have gone into liquidation and made their entire workforce redundant. Weatherseal have 'purchased' half of the Zenith order book and half of the installation depots. This order book stands at £9million which is not a great deal of money, approximately seven weeks worth of sales for the conservatory division of Anglian Home Improvements alone. I dispute the fact that your company has just become the 'market leader in home improvements', I dispute this after Anglians record sales in the last financial year of £330million.

I work for Anglian and believe that we are in fact still the market leader within the industry, and position that will be strengthened by the recent recruitment of Zeniths more capable sales managers and reps.
  • Your objection is noted but with just one correction - we purchased all the order book, and we maintained 100 staff positions at Zenith. You may have had a record year in sales but your company was not in a cash position to help out Zenith (A company whose head office is only a couple of miles down the road from your own.) Sales may be your forte at Anglian, but judging from your latest accounts at companies house, profit most certainly is not. As with all businesses, profit is king! Good luck with the new recruits though!

Sorry you feel that way. PM me your postcode and i'll ensure you are removed from the database (you will still of course have the opportunity of winning the prize - it is not a scam and please don't be libellous, I have offered to help.)

    Kind Regards

    WSHoldings

I'm afraid i don't trust Weatherseal or its employees at all after the treatment I've received from them so i will not be PM'ing you my personal details.

Also please tell me which bit of my post was libellous and i will amend it

Look, I know this has turned into a "Bash Weatherseal" thread, but I've had no negative experiences to draw on here. I entered the competition, ticked the opt-out and gave my full phone number, and no-one has contacted me.

I can clearly see the differences that our representative poster has described between this competition and other promotions (the ethics of which may or may not be in question).

Personally, I'd be delighted to win this comp. If it did go sour, of course I'd come back here and let you know about it, but for now I'm keeping an open mind on these chaps!

  • Good Evening avstar. I am unsure as to whether you were talking in general regarding 'scam' competitions or were referring to our online competition. If it was in relation to our competition then your comments are incorrect as the competition is genuine. However for you, and for many other interested parties that are following this thread, only time will tell. I am very dissapointed to read some of the posts that appear on this site and I am sorry for those that have not received the service that we are known by. Good luck to all who have entered.... and remember time will tell!

Apologies for that error, although I would be interested to know when business a company should feel obliged to 'help out' a rival. As to whether weatherseal are in a 'cash position' to 'help out' zenith is debateable since it was only 18 months ago that you yourselves were in liquidation, quite how weatherseal have 'helped out' zenith is also questionable. Forgive me if i am wrong, but that company still ceases to exist. why does this debacle make me think of vultures? You are of course free to question the strength of the Anglian brand, but when was the last time you saw us in liquidation? never?

Its not as if that discussion was completely unrelated to this thread was it now? people were questioning the integrity of the competition source and I was supporting their argument, because WSHoldings obviously has a vested interest and was being very economical with the truth.

And bumping a thread from way down in the forum after 12 hours of inactivity isnt the best way to kill the conversation is it?
