It was upgraded to £10,000 so that a 'full house' would mean a 'full house' even if you had a big house! Sorry if that sounds confusing!!!

We have to arrange marketing (photo's, press, promotional statements etc) and then it will be announced. After all we have to get something out of it as well!

I had a phone call the other evening to say that I hadnt won 1st prize but 'lucky me' had come runner up. Not thinking, I agreed for them to come out to me the following night, I then checked on here and on blagger.com and realised I made a big mistake and also found it strange that the competition which I came 'runner up' in didnt finish until 31/03/08.
The morning of when they was supposed to make their visited to me, I had a phone call to say that I had applied for them to come and give me a quote, I corrected them stating I had come runner up in a competition and also questionned the prize with the end date being so far away, the person on the other ends of the phone got very defensive and hung up on me, suprisingly the weatherseal rep didnt turn up that day either.:rotfl:

We understand that companies run competitions for the publicity etc but we don't like companies that issue fake prizes to get us to buy something...thats not a competition it's a scam....we also don't like companies that take our valuable personal information, even if we've ticked 'do not contact', and then harrass the life out of us.

And I know you won't believe me but I swear to God I got a phone call this afternoon from the following number 08702209319, when I answered the person just hung up.....I've just googled the number and guess what......Weatherseal seems a likely culprit.....so you are STILL harrassing me....and yes I did tick 'do not contact'

I never enter any comps like this because of things i've read previously. So if i ever get a call saying i'm runner up etc I'll say how can I be when I never entered. I think it's disgraceful that if you tick the box to not be contacted that they sometimes still do!
