I have not had the best April to be honest.

I have had alot of upset on a personal basis so my budget went out of the window to be honest.

I have worked out how much I will be getting from my new employment and I should still be able to make overpayments of around the £270 mark + £40 extra DD so thats £310 per month minimum.

I am still intending to do the odd Mystery shop but my time will be limited so I am aiming for one a week which would give me an extra £40 ish.

The Florida Holiday has to be paid for this month so at least I wont have to put money away for that after this month.

I will post my intentions soon x Thanks to all that follow....I need you lot to keep me on track:D

Just re-capping on my monthly commitments from my wages

    MONTHLY commitments are

    · £300 Stocks & Shares ISA
    · £80 kids regular saver
    · Holiday Savings £150 (Florida Holiday paid this month but still need some spending money and will save for holiday next year)
    · Mortgage Overpayment £270 (+£40 on top of this from OH account)

I am also going to need to contribute some money to our monthy budget as OH just isn't covering it £250

    Total = £1050

    Income
    Teaching £900
    Family Allowance £123
    Child Tax Credit £42
Business Income £212 (Regular Monthly contracts this has been reduced to save my sanity)

    Total £1277

So thats £227 spare, but I dont want to make it too tight.

Pleased you got the job. Hope nothing too awful going on at home.
It's very good to have a little left over money in the budget after any overpayment because then the emergencies that crop up (monthly!) can be paid for without too much hassle.

    Oh MY GOD!!!

I tried to withdraw some money from my current account from the cashpoint and it said unauthorised.

when I got home there was an answer machine message from my bank to say they needed to speak to me urgently.

When I rang them they said that they had put a block on my account due to suspicious transactions and could they check that they were mine...

    £3 for ITunes...................NO!
    £50 to Vodaphone.............NO!
    £5000 to some random business.....................NO!

I actually feel quite shakey about all of this even though all of the transacions will be cancelled......the £3 and £50 will still appear on my statement and then be reversed.

    THIEVING SCUM!
