Locating the Landowner of a PPC managed site

How do you approach the landowner if there is no information who the landowner is and when you approach the retailers they don't know either.?
Apart from the contract signage there is no other signage pertaining to who owns the land.

This information can be obtained through Land Registry website for a couple of quid. Make sure it's the gov.uk site and enter a post code.2

Perhaps the local council have a record of who pays the business rates on that property. A quick visit to their offices, or website, and obtain the info. for free3

A little research shows articles in the Sheffield Star concerning planning permission to build Dunkin Donuts next to KFC - application from a company called Chicken Villas Ltd in 2024.
