Login to MCOL and check your claim history online, like checking a bank account to see if money has gone in

The fact that you have the dated auto response is proof enough of delivery,  if there was a future problem

If they havent updated MCOL yet, they will once they get around to it, your claim history is your ongoing record

You really do need to chill out a bit,  because the justice system has been in disarray since covid19, same as the nhs etc

    Thanks Gr1pr.

I keep checking the history and only AOS shows.

You guys know more than me and I appreciate yours words of wisdom.

When defence shows up in history I will be dancing with joy.

I spent a lot of time on that defence adding my bit in coupon-mad template.

The claimant got their POC incorrect by stating the incorrect date that the PCN was issued which hopefully in itself will be a good reason albeit technical to get the claim disallowed.

    Hi Gr1pr

Finally my defence of 19th March has now been acknowledged and showing on MCOL.

It states though that the defence was received 2nd May although it was sent to CNBC on 19th March.

Will they have date stamped it the 19th March, even though it says on MCOL 2nd May 2025? (The defence deadline was 24th March)

Do I need to ring them just to make sure they have date of defence as 19th March?

No it's fine. Just means they found & updated it then.  The date is totally irrelevant now.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    Hi everyone

    Just an update.

Received an email from DC legal solicitors informing me that their client VCS intend to proceed with the claim and attached a copy of the Claimants completed N180 Directions questionnaire.

QD1 they've selected yes meaning they want the claim determined "on the papers" by a judge without a hearing

Obviously I will select I want a hearing and NOT "On the papers" !!!

They've also mentioned in the email that the client may be prepared to settle out of court and if I wish to discuss settlement to phone the number within 7 days.

    So the fun begins

Although I've not officially received an N180 Direction's questionnaire from the courts seeing that DCBLegal have sent me their copy will it do any harm for me to just download the NDQ N180 and fill it in and just email it now rather than wait to receive it in the post?

Yes, that's fine. DCB Legal send you one as an intimidation tactic.
