Hi , my IDS shares were worth about 4k l had 1175 of them l think . l last looked on my Barclays app during last week or so and they weren't changing much but today on checking they are saying worth zero. Please tell me l have not lost 4k. My son took his own life on the 15th April so understandably l have not been quite as vigilant re: messages etc but having said that l can't see any urgent emails or messages alerting me to take action on my Barclays Stockholder online acct or Barclays app. Please can someone advise me what happens now.
Just to add I am still been given option even though deadline says 13thMay to 'take no action' or 'tender (amount calculated by shareholder) at GBP 3.6 per share. Should I try and select that ? It's defaulting to take no action atm

If you haven't tendered them to the company that's acquiring IDS note that they will be delisted from the LSE on 02/06/25.0 -

I missed the tender deadline apparently on Tuesday 13th (my son's funeral as it happens). So what happens now have l lost all my money . Can I appeal to anybody Barclays stockbrokers or IDS directly or whoever because of the circumstances?0

You haven't lost the money. If you haven't been able to accept the offer, then you'll almost certainly get your shares bought compulsorily now (for the same £3.60 per share as the offer), because acceptances are just up to 90.152145% (see https://www.londonstockexchange.com/news-article/IDS/holding-s-in-company/17040995 ), and the bidder is entitled to buy out the rest when they have 90%+. It might take slightly longer to get the money than accepting the offer, though.3

If you didn't tender your shares, i beleive you still can. You can get more information here on how to do so. There is different action to take depending on if you held your shares via a physical certificate or in the nominee share service.idsoffer.shareview.info/ordcsn.htm#certificated_shareholders0 -

If you want the money sooner rather than later sell them into the market - last I looked they were selling for 359p vs the 360p purchase offer.
Depending on how quick Barclays has been to credit it to your account, you should have received an 8p per share dividend on 14/05.
