Morning all.  Hope you're all ok.

We've just taken DGD2 home to meet her brother.  He's very cute but I had to admire from a distance as I'm still not well.

So, the house is back to an adult one with all toys away.  Washing machine is now whirring.  Poppet has had her walk.  Next is a quick hoover through, check admin, then lunch and a relaxing afternoon.  I've a birthday card to finish making.

Wordle in five, two lines on connections, strands with no hints and solved letter boxed in four words.

Congratulations on the new grandbaby, Jazee.
Hugs to Valli, Narc0, Iona - well anyone who needs one really x
Up at a decent time and have used the morning well - downstairs dusted and vacc’d, bits and bobs tidied, bathroom s&s, clean washing put away, plants watered and mucky footprints cleaned from inside the front and back doors. Time now for a coffee, then I might see off the small ironing pile before it has the chance to set root. A vague meal plan for the week needs firming up on. DD is due home later today for a couple of days - I think, as she is being typically vague on timings.

No flying in VillaValli to report but have flown in The Home Of The Aged Peas.  I think there'll be a lot of flying there...and flinging.

So. In 2010, for Christmas, P & S kindly bought me the bird table / planter that I'd seen advertised. Unfortunately it came dismantled and in a box.

I was going to say fast forward 15 years, but there's been nothing fast about it. Said box has been forlornly sat in my kitchen ..until today 🥁 🥁 

I've removed the contents, checked them off against the contents list - all present and correct, and I've torn up and recycled the box. So there's no going back now. 

I have my screwdrivers. I have my instructions. I'm going to follow one step at a time and put the thing together.

I've done it! One planter / bird feeder put together. Packaging binned. Screwdrivers put away.

That's aggravated both of my wrists - a lot of screwing involved. 

I can't upload photos to Flylady or I would. Cause I'm just a bit chuffed with myself for finally getting round to it 😌
