Hugs to Valli; I know how difficult it is and hope things go well for you and your family as Mum settles in her new home. It can take a time.
A loud no news so far about the ***** solicitors, other than the estate agent has now offered to do a diagram of the garage area which is one of their (unfounded) gripes; apparently the diagram I drew wasn't "acceptable to Land Registry" - hardly surprising as a) I'm not an architect and b) if the buyers want extra land, they can draw their own flippin' diagram, it's nothing to do with DB, me or Mum.
- gym swim
- went to 'work', met with the nice student from last week who has put some of my advice into practice already and is enthusiastic to continue more support.
- final tidy/meal prep etc for our two friends who arrived with their lovely whippet.
- started packing as we go to Dorset tomorrow.
Hugs to all who need them.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
morning all
collected mum’s meds and took them to hers where sis, dad and I packed a suitcase with labelled clothes…we had the labels ready. I took the case and meds to the home as I was also taking mums food processor to my friend and she lives nearby. This home wasn’t on my original list due to its location. Cleaned the inside of the door at mums where it was scuffed from her escape attempts. Took stuff to CS (my stuff) so flingage happened.
Re pressurised boiler as decorators have taken 2 radiators off. this involves moving TD and washer so cleaned under there.
Work today so I’ll be out of decorators way.
Thanks for all the well wishes xDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Afternoon, feeling very low today, AF is due so that's probably not helping and listening to DD2 moaning can be stressful.
Lists not being followed, just doing jobs as I think of them 😔
DW unloaded
Batch cook boxed up and put in freezer
Banana bread made with squashy bananas and baked
Wake up phone calls done to DD2
DW reloaded and on
Kitchen sides wiped
Living room floor swept

Quiet on here today!
We went out, but without K or the girls - W (who loves history and visiting NT properties) had caught the lurgy from her mum, and M didn't want to come with us because we're boringIt was very cold and damp all day, especially as this place has single glazing courtesy of the Tudors, as well as a moat round it, but on a day when visitor numbers were very high we were fortunate to get a table in the café instead of having to sit outside. We left Rosie at home - she had a long walk with L, but was still very pleased to see us when we got back.
I did all the usual dailies before we went out. My desk has not got any more cluttered than it was 24 hours ago

Morning xx
According to my phone the temperature has risen 10° overnight! Has Spring sprung?
Had a dreadful day at work on Tuesday- but thankfully no repercussions from my Friday email. I think that would have put the tin lid on it. Then a lovely day yesterday. Same place, same job, opposite ends of the spectrum 🤷♀️ So we'll see what today brings ...
Usual minimum flying done. I was in bed just after 9 last night 😴
My bed is made, my lunch is packed, etc etc.
Have a good day my lovelies.
