Morning all, It's another cold start to the day here.
My list for today
Attend uni lectures
Do paid stuff
Take the dog for a long walk
Do some work on uni assignment (aim for another 200 words)
Do some exam revision (first exam in just over a weeks time)
Hoover the living room carpet
Dust the living room
Clean the inside of the living room window
Take DD to/from guides
Do uni prep for tomorrow
I think that is everything that I need to get done today. I hope everyone has a lovely Thursday and manages to keep warm.

Morning all,
Don’t get your hopes up, Round. I think the temperature drops again next week…
Today’s vague plans scuppered by the weather - it’s a blustery, damp day. I was thinking of going to the allotment (yes, really!) to prune the apples trees. Plus I have some snowdrops in the green to plant in the garden. Currently, both jobs are back on the wait and see list. I have some admin work for a friend to sort out, so will do that this morning and see how it goes. Mr M is delivering later, prices seem to be going up again as I have spent 1.5 times, maybe closer to twice as much, as I have been managing on so far this year.
Yesterday was a busy day. I cleaned the bathroom, dusted the bedroom and spare room in the morning then dashed around with the vacuum cleaner in the afternoon. That followed a walk of over 7 miles with a friend - I was royally exhausted by the time 4pm came! It kept me out of the WAC for most of the night, which was a relief as my leg was giving me gyp and I thought I’d be awake for most of the night.I have set the very full dw to run, dinner is from the freezer, so no excuses not to get this admin done and off my list. I can’t believe I am doing someone else’s when I am the biggest procrastinator of my own!Have a good day all x6 -
Finally I have a clean oven. Tackled it yesterday, just got to get the glass bulb cover out of soak, wash it off and put back in place.Need to empty the dishwasher and tidy the kitchen before going out to my volunteer job in the potwash of my local NT cafe. I did a shift on Monday and it was busy because of half term, there were no other volunteers on the list today so I've signed up to help.Hopefully OH coming home this evening will motivate me to blitz round the house this afternoon.Make £2025 in 2025

Afternoon all. Hope it's turning out to be a good day for round x
I have
- done the usual dailies
- prepped and started cooking a large batch of stew in the SC
- labelled and put away jam (which still hasn't set properly, but I can use it up as a cake ingredient rather than a filling)
- walked Rosie up to the Covert and back, though she didn't want to stay and play there - the squirrels are still hibernating!
- washed the soil off two plastic tubs that I will eventually take to the CS
- thought about other things that need doing but decided against starting and then finding it was time to go out.
I'm off to see a church friend/former teaching colleague this afternoon, hoping there might be choccy biscuits - perhaps I ought to take some with me!

Well the house didn't get blitzed this afternoon. The cafe was extremely busy as expected with it being half term, and one of the staff went home feeling unwell midshift so I stayed on for an extra 90 minutes and was very glad to sit down when I got home. Didn't stop from the minute I got there to the minute I left.Ran round with the vac a few minutes ago, and dinner tonight will be from the chippy.Make £2025 in 2025

Visited mum in the home - she was thrilled to see me but not happy that I left her there - she tried the old 'I'm your mother' routine - subtext being that I will do as I'm told...lol

Good morning, It was a strange start to the day for me as I woke up at 5am and spent a couple of hours on exam revision before showering and heading into uni, currently sitting in the library until it's time for my first lecture.
My list for today
Attend uni lectures
Do paid stuff
Take the dog for a long walk
Do some work on uni assignment (aim for 200 words) Work In Progress 100 words added
S&S kitchen
Deal with emails that are waiting to be answered
Sort out revision notes that were printed early this morning, as still sitting on the printer
Sort out the laundry that was done last night (1 load is still in the dryer and the other load is dumped on the kitchen table)
Sort through and tidy away clutter that is currently on the desk.
Only a short list for me today but think that is everything that I need to get done. Hope everyone has a lovely Friday and manages to stay warm.7 -
Morning all,
Up slightly later than planned, slightly discombobulated by the weirdest of dreams just before I woke up. Looking at the list, I probably do need to spend time in the spare room, although that usually means that I get distracted by the fabric stash / current project / half finished or intended projects. I know, so unlike me 🙃. Outside jobs have been pushed to tomorrow when it is forecast to be less windy and rainy. 1 load in the wm, now I need a plan / pick something useful off my list as my library book has been distracting (it’s a habit) me so far this morning.6 -
Morning all xx
Gosh. What happened yesterday? Were you all so busy flying that you didn't have time to post your accomplishments? Did you all go on a Flylady bus trip? Were you all beamed up by aliens? Whatever happened I hope it was something good and not life throwing more 💩 into your lives.
Ahhhh. Weeeeekeeeennnd. Saturday. My favourite day of the week. Another week at the paid stuff survived. Annnnndddd breathe 😊.
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in four, completed Connections with one life lost, and I'm supping my first brew.
