On Monday I ordered 2 new debit cards with new picture on it for my accounts they said will let me know within 24 hours if been accepted I used standard picture on the website! & reported my saver account card is damaged no response yet about any of them cards!Must be issue with issuing new debit cards etc!
I still can’t message them about it & told only ring if it’s urgent or try again in 24 hours!Will try calling later to find out if there’s an update on my cards & if my latest statement has been printed, but very bad if they don’t answer at all!Are they just not bothering to talk to customers unless very urgent0 -

I finally called someone who sorted my issue funnily enough got through to Barclays Premier manage lol!
Was told due to the issue on Friday all statements due to be printed/available on the app will be delayed a few days0 -

The issue occured on Friday, but assuming your employer pays by BACS Direct Credit everything should have been processed from Barclays perspective on Wednesday. Natwest should have received the credit on Thursday ready to apply to your account ready for Friday morning.
If your employer pays by Faster Payment then you could have been impacted, but Barclays say all payments have now been released. A smaller company who process their payments manually are more likely to use FPS.
Either way, I think if this was going to resolve its self without intervention, it would have happened already by now.
I would suggest you ask your employer to check their account and confirm if the payment was actually made, and hasn't been returned. If it was then they will need to ask Barclays to trace it. You should also speak to Natwest to make them aware of the issue, they may be sympathetic in the circumstances.
Ultimatley, it is your employer's responsibility to pay you, even if this means they have to send another payment. They bank with Barclays, and the delay is beyond your employer's control, but they still need to ensure you get paid correctly.0 -
I received an apology email about the downtime to an old email address I used on my late mother's online account, baring in mind this account was closed up in 2006. What the heck is going on? Why are they keeping old details for so long?0
