I've received a child benefit payment this morning, but a debit card payment I made in the early hours of Friday morning is still showing as 'pending'. This outage definitely seems to be affected certain transactions but not others.

As long as it is fixed by Monday morning it probably will not have much more of an impact.

They probably will, but so do other banks when they have system problems, so it probably makes no long term, difference.

They might not be, but it does not matter as it is an issue caused by the bank and other financial institutions are aware, it will not count as a missed payment.

I sent money from Virgin to Barclays Friday afternoon not realising Barclays had issues, it showed up as available this morning, I also managed to fund my Iceland Bonus Card using said Barclays account.

Also I funded my Gatehouse Regular (via my virgin money account as usual) with no issues today

I’d be curious to what the cause is and wonder if there will be an investigation by authorities. Three days of serious issues should not be possible. Barclays are meant to be one of the top banks technology wise.

Agree - issues happen but this has taken an awfully long time to recover.

Indeed, Ford Money uses Barclays to hold their deposits.
