Need to update spends, but I'm posting now so I don't forget.
I spent £15 odd at Aldi a few days ago.Meant to be just on a vegan chicken fillet and tinned peaches; but ended up getting some bits of fruit and veg also..Picked up a bag of bird seed too which I never do, as me and DGD go to feed the squirrels alot when in the park; but wanted to also have something for the pigeons .I'm not sure if I've posted about it here already 🤔
Also in HB, got toothbrush set for DGD, batteries for the remote, a sponge and toothbrushes for myself.
Will try and remember to tot up accordingly later today.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July ££110.46/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. My NSD of yesterday was foiled....... but only a tad as I caved and bought a dessert that was reduced (I'd gone to buy batteries for the pesky fire alarm).....
Today I aim for NSD again.

Another £48.41 in Ald*, more than I meant to spend but got there at the right time for the 50% discounts, so 2 packs of chicken thigh fillets and 2 packs of belly pork, plus various fruit and veg. Should keep us going for a while.

Just placed a C&C order with Morries to collect £12 off £60 on Sunday. It remains to be seen what they have not got then, but at least 4 things would not go through as "out of stock" at my chosen store. I do find this frustrating, as by Sunday, the things chopped off the order now may be back and there will be other things in an email to say whoops, missing; as they load the trolley on Sunday morning! Double dip removal. It's why I go in to store normally.
DH is collecting one or two bits from Sainsbobs when he goes to give blood (assuming they have them) - a large bag of penne, big packs of butter, their TTD Fish fingers and the bits chopped off the Morries C&C. I have also added in the big river items that are coming on the 18th but will wait for Sunday before updating my fileSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £4863.32 out of £6000 after May (81.05%)

328/600 On track for once. I got creme fraiche to put in soup instead of cream as slightly cheaper. I did use natural yogurt in week when forgot cream and worked fine but not as creamy. My hubby is now finding he is eating less with the skinny jab the drs put him on So that is helping me keep in budget. When we went round aldi today he was not putting in all the extras he normally does and made a big difference to the total shop. Dont think he even realises it as well21k savings no debt12

The coffee shop habit has definitely crept up on me this week - largely because I wasn't coming straight home Monday evening or Wednesday and it's a convenient way to fill that gap. I did buy groceries as well - ketchup, veg burgers and burger buns and soy sauce. Down to £144.97 left for the month.Fashion on the Ration 2025 - 1.5 coupons remaining

Hi guys
£5.35 spent so far ( was £10.35 but I got a £5 voucher from L*dl on a £5 spend so I bought a few bits and then knocked them off my online shop list) I needed milk anyway and looked straight ahead going anywhere that had sweets and biscuits) So in theory £5 free shopping. Bargain.
