I also love that list, it's fantastic!  It's easy to get down especially when there's a long way to go, but sometimes just sitting back and reflecting on how far we've come is so useful.

I got some money from my old/second job today and although I could really have done with keeping it all (expensive week, unwell pet), I paid £50 off an overdraft. Things feel really tight this month!
I bought myself a very nice burger from the supermarket for a nice tea and I've poured a glass of wine. I am technically on annual leave until Tuesday but will be doing lots of house chores, playing vet nurse, and probably doing a couple of hours for the old/second job to get it finished.

I had little mini blow out on Friday and instantly regretted it, but it could have been worse. I was going to buy new converse for work when I got my next second/additional pay, but I temporarily hit the f*** it button, bought 2 pairs of footwear, 2 cardigans, and a chinese takeaway. The converse were £27 and my current pair I bought at the start of the pandemic so it's not too bad, just more annoyed at my impulsivity than the actual money spent
I'm enjoying noticing all the small changes I'm making in my house after neglecting it for 5 years. Having less stress and a more enjoyable job means I'm more able to do little things here and there and they're starting to add up.
I've planted lots of seeds, mostly tasty things to eat in the summer (if I beat the slugs, snails, and birds). I'm going for a scattered approach, shoving old seeds all over the place to see what grows rather than only the methodical sowing in modules and planting out in rows or clusters.
My credit score is still dropping, which is annoying after 3 months of trying to sort my debts and making big improvements, but it'll improve soon I'm sure. I will need to transfer a credit card in September when the interest free period ends so I still have almost 6 months to get it up.
I have tomorrow off work too, so just contemplating what jobs I can do around the house that will please me (without costing money).

Hope you had a good day off work!

I've done the blow out thing before as well.  Don't beat yourself up about it!

I did another coat of paint on the massive ugly breeze block garden wall, but now I am out of paint so will have to wait til after payday to finish it.
My guilt at the impulsive purchase meant I wouldn't let myself open the new trainers until I finished the final report for my old/second job and submitted my hours. It's done and I've tried my trainers on, and they fit. So all is well with the world now!
I just have to survive til payday and dip in to the emergency fund to do so, but that's what it's there for. I can put extra back in when I get the extra pay. I had a tricky week last week, working two extra jobs and having a sick pet to deal with, so I can forgive myself for buying my new trainers prematurely. Onwards and upwards (or downwards if you're my debts)!

That's a cheap price for converse! I bought my last pair in lockdown and ended up buying 2 as they were about the same price 🫣. I keep thinking about replacing mine as they are now virtually falling to pieces

Exactly, it would be criminal to not buy them for that price! The online shop with the same name as the coloured shell coated chocolates, and I can get away with junior sizes. I usually go for black for work but these are green and I am in love 😊

I've just spent 10 mins trying to work that out 🤣🤣 muttering all kinds of chocolate brands outloud. Got there eventually!  I may have a little look ..... currently i have red and black (and a black hi top pair that were a present) They do tend to be my Go To shoe alongside my gazelles (also a present)
