Ach, that's not a good feeling. You sound shattered, along with your crockery! When can you plausibly have a rest day of doing absolutely b*gger all other than basic animal and self care?

Not this weekend Pip, I've got a hen do to go to. I'm not complaining too much, I haven't socialised for months, just slight bad timing when I could really do with a rest.
Maybe the following weekend. In the meantime I'll drink plenty of water, take my supplements, have some extra naps, and maybe do some mindfulness 😇 Because stupidly those are the first things to be forgotten when I'm busy, until my body gives me a warning.

I just went to take a homemade lasagne out of the freezer and there's none left. I'm devastated. That was my distraction to not get a takeaway. I'm going to have to think of something else just as nice quickly.
My new air fryer has arrived so it would be rude to not have chips.

Celebrating with my favourite (on special offer in Sains) prosecco!
Things are far from easy, but I have a good job that I sometimes love, options to step back down to a job I love more once I don't need to sell my soul, qualifications, a house I love (despite the state of it and the neighbour), and pets and friends. I've travelled and I've lived abroad. If nothing else, right now I am egg rich! Teenage me (living in a bedsit on 'druggy hill' at 17) would not be able to believe everything I have today.
Cheers! 🥂
