If you build it up with run/walk intervals you should be able to run the Park Run again. There’s a lady who lives on my road, she must be 70 plus and runs every day. Not very fast but she does it and her figure is amazing, she is so lean.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

    I hope so @Sun_Addict !!

I ran a 10k days before I caught covid but it really damaged my lungs so I haven't been able to run since. The longest I managed was 3 minutes but it caused a major crash. I've done lots of breathing exercises, strengthened my lungs, reversed my asthma diagnosis, and improved my ability to recover from activity. I'll take it really slowly.

In other news it seems the new trainers I bought are exactly the same as the pair I'm wearing. At least I know they're comfy!

I've nipped home from house sitting as they're delayed. I've brought most of my stuff back and my dogs. I've put all my animals away, had a shower and moisturised my face and hair. The first load is in the washing machine and I can't leave til it's finished. My mid month supermarket delivery should be here soon. So I'm getting all prepped to spring into action tomorrow and get some chores done.

I've pushed the washing machine back in place, let's see if it dances across the kitchen today 😄

Then I'll head back to do final checks of the house I've been sitting and stay til I put the dogs to bed.

I'm going to start my randomly generated ten minute tasks tomorrow 😂

It's so nice waking up in my own bed. I love staying at the big house, but there's something comforting about your own bed and routines. I've fed the animals and I'm back in bed for a well deserved Sunday rest.

Today's plan is to carry on tackling the mountain of washing, clean the ducklings/downstairs bathroom, and make a start on some of the health stuff I've got planned. I hit my steps target every day last week without trying, just from being generally more active all through the day so I'd like that to continue. I need some good nutrient dense food and a good stretch.

I'll also be starting my random ten minute tasks. Now the day is here I'm still excited but also a little reluctant as there are so many things on that list that I don't want to do and have put off for a very long time. It's only ten minutes though and I can do hard things for ten minutes surely.

I've written down 50 tasks I can get done in ten minutes or less, or that might take longer but I only have to do them for ten minutes. I've put them in a table in word and numbered them and I'm going to use a random number generator on my phone to pick one. I'm hoping to do 3 a day til the end of the month but as long as I do one that's fine, and I'm allowing myself 2 passes a day (as it might be an outside task and raining hard or something).

Just trying to kick my motivation up the butt because the house has gotten forgotten while work has been busy. I'm hoping this will make it feel like a game and even if I don't do it for long it'll give me enough of a boost that I'll hopefully keep going at a more natural rate through summer.

A bit like a kid learning to ride a bike. Give them a big push to get momentum and see how far they get before they wobble off or hit a wall 😆

I’m stealing this idea, it’s amazing. Like you say, it’s only 10 minutes though I think several of my things will be on repeat. I’m off to start pen and paper listing (my preference) but am sad enough to be excited by that. Please keep us posted on how you progress

I have got a few things on there more than once @in_need_of_direction and one of my tasks is 'open the shed door' because it's such a terrifying task to empty the shed I have to reward the small steps 😆
