Imagine how horrific the clean up would have been if it hadn't been valeted first? That might be the very best 70 quid you've spent this year. Honestly.
One of my rescue pups used to come back from the vets after his shots and wait until the house was in sight before throwing up in between the front seats and all over the gearstick. You'd think after the first time I'd have learned. And yet.
Feeling your pain. I hope the drink was a double.

@Mands I poured a single but then poured another.
I made it to payday! Doing my money shift around today as I'll be in holiday mode tomorrow. I am still writing down what money is coming in and what I intend to spend it on/pay off each month as soon as I get my payslip. It's making me feel more organised and intentional.
I have quite a bit to spend on myself and the house this month for my motivation recharge. I'm already counting my car valet. I had a colleague in my car today and I will be giving people a lift to the airport tomorrow. It was very nice getting into a clean car this morning and not berating myself about the state of it. With the extra funds this month and what's already in the house fund I should have about £200 to spend on the house. Drain clearing is currently the front runner as my sinks have blocked up this week (it's all a regular occurrence).
I'm having a bit of money to spend on my weekend away too, so I'm not counting pennies and worrying. It should be a relatively cheap weekend but it will be nice not to worry and any not spent can be put to good use when I'm back.
