"The Moorside lot are bombarding the Defendant with settlement figures of which I have said ignore"
That tends to mean they do not want to go to court.

The ball is now firnly in their court, either get a court spanking or discontinue, You simply cannot reply to these bods

Thats what I thought when Gr1pr spotted it. Its interesting how you all can navigate throught the jargon though as it seems a legal business cannot seem to get it correct.
Thus makes interesting reading from our part. Again thanks for your help and I'll pass this all on.1 -

Yes your correct, although they seem to want to push without excepting the fact that we have a very willing group of helpful people on here who will certainly push back and in the majority of cases win.
The Defendant will look forward to the discontinue notice.
Another one bites the dust..........2 -
Good afternoon
A further update to my last post 2nd April regarding the process so far.
The Defendant has been waiting for the N180 form from CNBC and upto this point has not received one.
Yesterday I have been informed they have received a Letter from CNBC stating Judgement of Claim (in default)
With:
To the Defendant
You have not replied to the claim form
Therefore ordered to pay the claimant the sum £
You must pay the claimant forthwith.
Dated 11 June
Have we missed something here in the process?
It seems this amount now has to be paid.
Thanks for any help.0 -
3rd April - "I will forward a N180 to them and await CNBC direction as you mention, then send it off."
