Does zumba x 2 count? Did that today.ionafan said:
Narc0, do make time for a rest this week - you've been driving yourself very hard x
But I came home and booked a mini break for Mr N and I; I've always wanted to see the Dutch bulbfields and - amazingly, as he has always happily waved goodbye when I went on a cruise with Mum (he doesn't much like boats) - he has agreed a short cruise would be a good way to do it. So we have 4 nights/5 days in April, returning on my birthday. Insurance purchased immediately jic.
- one load washing done
- one load through DW
- Mr N and I went through our bookcase in the dining room. We managed to shift more than 10 into the charity box.
- I added a little-worn fleece to the box too, as I'd adopted one of Mum's.
- emailed the list of 'items remaining in Mum's house' to DB, who is going down tomorrow.
- drumming practice
Honeybear you have done amazingly.
Our redesigned kitchen is still evolving although nearly there, but now of course we've brought "stuff" up from Mum's. I decided to adopt her Portmeirion dinner set and it will be fun finding places to store it. Part of it will be on the dresser in the dining room, currently occupied by a very art deco tea set left to me by an aunt. I'm planning to now redesign my study/home office now I'm not working much, and will incorporate things like that.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -
Oooh Narc0, I didn't know that you are also a fan of Portmeirion - I've got enough for all 14 of us when the family get togetherNarc0lepsy said:

If we ever downsize I shall give each person their own place setting
Zumba is far too energetic for me, but if it decluttered some of your stress, then it definitely counts the same as resting for you.
Lots of bits of admin and loose ends tied up today. I still need to complete a Spanish lesson before I go to bed, otherwise I shall break my 4-month streak, but I've still got half an hour before the day runs out so it shouldn't be a problem!7 -
Morning all xx
I'm usually quite antsy about returning to TT on a Tuesday but I think I must have used up all my 'ants' yesterday 🤔 So I was woken up by my alarm which is set for 7am on a work morning just in case. I'm up, dressed, made my bed, taken my meds, turned over the calendars (payday 💃 woot woot), packed my lunch bag, eaten breakfast and I'm supping a brew.
I'll feed the birds and put out the recycling before I set off.
Wishing you all a good day.

Morning. Wordle in six and strands with no hints.
Back twingy again so not going to exercise class today. I have changed sofa throws so WM is now whirring and done basic admin. Payday is not till Friday so I'll do monthly stuff then.
So I'll see what flying I can accomplish today. I'll need to walk Poppet and go out to send some vinted parcels.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -

Morning all,
Eventually slept in my new bed last night (it was delivered last week but been busy rearranging the room). I am pleased to say it is a comfy bed, but I feel a bit disorientated this morning. think it might be because the room is completely changed around.
My list for today
Go to uni lectures
Do paid stuff
Take some rubbish to the local recycling centre (will do this on my way to uni)
Take the dog for a long walk
Dust the living room
S&S kitchen
HH paperwork
Do uni prep for tomorrow
Only a short list for me today but I think that is everything that I need to get done. I hope everyone has a lovely Tuesday.

Morning all (just),Well I got wordle in 4 today, strands I needed 4 hints, and connections I only got one line. So far this morning I've put some laundry away, and after smelling burning fat smells when DH was cooking last night, I had a go at cleaning our oven this morning. It always seems to take me ages to clean the oven, and it's a most hated job. I've got HG oven cleaner which does a good job without lots of toxic fumes, but it takes a while to rinse off all of the greasy foam that drips to the oven floor. I've also never removed the side grids before (newish oven), so had to hunt for the manual.I've also hunted out some new work shoes after I've had to admit that the ones I'm currently wearing have come to the end of their life. I'm hoping that the ones I've brought out of hiding (I bought them a long time ago) are comfortable on Thursday.Hugs to all who want or need them and get well wishes where appropriate.xEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20178
