washing on line, laudry ironed and on maiden/hangers. Ironing board left out for the stuff on the line. Lots of windows open for fresh air. Rabbit hutch emptied, lifted and understory swept out.
Cat pots washed. Damaged washing basket (I have two identical ones so they nest and the wind caught one and the handle cracked) repaired with hot glue. More Pr1m@ mags checked and popped into recycling.
Just had cheese and biscuits for lunch, going to clean kitchen shortly.

I spent an hour in the garden with my supervisor keeping a close - or is it closed? - eye on me
That picture was taken at about noon - but see how long her shadow is, covering most of the clump of crocuses.
In that hour plus a bit more I managed to
- unscrew all the screws out of the trellis frame that I had put up against our NDN's fence 7 years ago, at the behest of the rescue centre we got Rosie from, to prevent her from jumping out of the garden, but she has never shown any sign of wanting to escape. It had been returned to me when the fence was replaced earlier this month. I've kept the now folded-up trellis and a 7' long piece of timber for Justin Case, as the wood is still good.
- plant 2 pots' worth of tulips and miniature daffs
- empty the soil out of a rectangular plastic tub, which I shall eventually take with its twin to the CS
- relocate some small pots of bulbs so that we can see them better
- admire the corner of the man-cave which DH claimed to have tidied
- persuade DH, without too much difficulty, to put a very complicated plastic device (for helping him to put his socks on) into the recycling: it had broken last summer, and he had originally planned to mend it. Goodness knows how, as he didn't have all the bits!
- spot that DH ***of his own volition*** was recycling 3 plastic lids from some commercial ice cream tubs, so added another identical one to the group, which I had used as a "saucer" for pot plants in the back porch and kept only until I could persuade him to part with them all
- prepare a very tasty lunch of mince, mash, carrots and sprouts. The supervisor asked for (and got) the excess gravy on her dry food. Result = three comfortably full tummies.
I am now going to sit down with a cup of coffee before taking Rosie out for a walk. I have an appointment with the podiatrist at 6pm, and at 8pm I need to collect my goddaughter W from Scouts and take her home - not forgetting to give her a bag containing her birthday card (which I must write) and gift (which I must wrap) for Saturday.5 -

Today's plan
✔️Breakfast
✔️Open windows
✔️CS voluntary session x2 hrs - managed an hour & half
✔️WM x2
✔️TD if needed
✔️DW x1 and WUDUPA excess
✔️FUPA laundry
✔️S&S kitchen & bathroom
Bedroom
✔️Strip & air bed

✔️Clear landfall stuff behind bedside table - there was as much stuff (possibly more) behind it as on it 😮
✔️Dust high & low - soooo much dust
✔️Empty bin
✔️Vacuum matress & headboard
✔️Fresh bedding on
✔️Vacuum floor
Fall gently forwards on newly made bed and revel in fresh cosy comfortness 🛌 ..... or not, depends on how my back holds out at CSV
🙂
Having a cuppa, then on with the nice fresh bedding. S&S and FUPA later
Back a bit achey but holding on thanks ionafan

ETA all done now - weird but I feel lighter after dealing with the bedside table & dust. Hope it shows at WI tomorrow! 🤞"I started out with nothing
And still got most of it left"

How is page 6 already!? I'M SO FAR BEHIND *cry*
Total disaster of a week, so I will restart things in the morning...7 -
Morning all xx
👋 to iona. Thank you for thinking about me 😘.
It is Friday, isn't it? Please say yes. What a week! I was falling asleep in front of the telly at 7 last night. But through the week I have FUPA all dry laundry and put away the airer, as well as the usual birds fed and recycling out every morning.
I seem to be starting with a cold....hope it doesn't settle in for the weekend. That would put a tin hat on it - starting February with a lurgy. Heyho. It is what it is.
Have a good day. I'm cheering you all on from the sidelines.

eltee's new 🐸frogmella🐸 quest The Shelves of Shame located in the spare room, 3 of them about 6ft long, overfull with books and random stuff. I've been 'starting on it this week' for about 5 years - fed up with putting this off so am giving myself 3 weeks (a week per shelf 📚) starting today 😱.
I've said it out loud so will have to do it now, I may be gone some time .....

ElI've just deleted another 569 emails and folders. That brings my total of decluttered items for January to well over 2500 items, in fact 114 items over target. There's a part of me that thinks that solid physical items were originally going to be the full 2,500 but in the end I couldn't get rid of things I thought were useful or I wanted to keep for various reasons. I am not a minimalist and don't want to be that way inclined either. But, my life is surrounded by stuff, much of which gets in my way when I'm moving about, or thinking, or looking for things. The feeling of clutter is pervasive and I don't like it. So, the final batch of emails this morning, mostly Foodbank, Health, some I can't remember already and some very personal ones have all gone. I no longer have to search through them because they're misfiled, or I kept them 'just in case.' Because I know how many hundreds, if not thousands, are filed in subfiles in my Inbox and the Search function doesn't work globally - that's a problem when I'm looking for particular emails.Tomorrow I will start the same again for February and it won't involve quite so much hefting about so it'll be a lot physically easier, so I've also set a target for chubbage shedding. One pound a week sounds reasonable, it'll take 19 weeks for me to shed everything I need gone provided I can stick to it so that'll be right into June, which is slightly painful but quick fixes don't work for me. I'm going to see how the first week of February goes and see if one pound a week is realisitc before I commit myself fully, ie the no sugar thing is not starting tomorrow, but bigger better breakfasts will be.But, anyway, it's 31 January, my name is HoneyBear, and I've reached January's Decluttering Target.
Better is good enough.7
