Morning all xx
Love and hugs to all. Where's the dodgy group hug emoji when you need it?
I'm up, made my bed, taken my meds, packed my lunch bag, turned over the calendars, completed Strands with no hints, completed Wordle in six (phew) and completed Connections with no lives lost. I've eaten breakfast and I'm supping a brew.
I've done a laundry shuffle- all towels and tea towels FUPA.
I'll feed the birds before I head off to today's episode of Life & Times at TT. On my way home I must remember to pick up DB's key. I'm on cat feeding duty on Thursday.
Take care. One day at a time my lovelies.

Morning everyone, I'm feeling tired after a busy day yesterday but it will be another busy one for me today, as so much is happening/to get done, however DH is on a half day at work so will be helping me with some of the list.
My list for today
Get the kids to school
Deal with the delivery of the new bed
Deal with the delivery of the new wardrobe
Go to uni lecture
Do paid stuff
Put the base of the bed into the skip
Phone the carpet fitter to pay rest of invoice for new carpet that comes tomorrow
Move the bookcase into the office
Move furniture around in the master bedroom and make space for the new wardrobe
Hoover the master bedroom
Dust the master bedroom
Put the new bed together and make the bed
Build the new wardrobe
Take the dog for a long walk
Move clothes to the correct wardrobe (my stuff is currently in the old wardrobe in DDs room)
Decide on which jigsaws and hand into the local care home
Take DS to his drama group
Move the furniture out of the living room to make space for the carpet fitting
Lift the carpet in the living room as the new carpet is coming tomorrow
Do uni prep for tomorrow
Check payments due in February and make sure they are in the diary
Look into changing bank account
I think that is everything that I need to get done today, I hope everyone has a lovely Wednesday.8 -
Me again. Work shift ran over, my back still hurts so I'm not meeting with friends now so that means I can flutter! Dailies and hoovering are done.Spend less now, work less later.8

Strands with no hints but I had to use google - ditto, four lines on Connections, Wordle in 5.Wren walked, tip gibble loaded into the car which is full because there are a lot of bulky items but I'm at my desk because I'm already feeling over-tired and going out and about today would exacerbate that, and I have too much to do to be physically tired as well. I'm eating chocolate ginger biscuits with my coffee - for the energy. Nothing to do with them being my favourites.Am very low on book, clothes and stationery numbers so I'm tackling the stationery cupboard again which is light work in comparison to what I've been doing the past couple of days.

Bathroom cleaned to an acceptable level, but not in Valli’s league.
Clean washing sorted and homed.
DH has been to the f&v market and returned with lots of lovely and bargalicious f&v. I have amended the Mr M shop that is coming tomorrow accordingly. Tonight’s meal is done, as I cooked a bogof yesterday. Well sort of - I used the oven and so filled it with dinner for 2 nights and some sneaky jam tarts from the leftover pastry.
I have been for a poke around the garden, topped up the bird feeder. I am now contemplating separating my master pick and mix list into Indoor and Outdoor. Or that is maybe just an excuse to find another notebook and write another list. I am finding that keeping the Adminning list separately is working for me though. I have a vague plan to take myself for a short walk this afternoon. If we didn’t live at one of the furthest points of the country from the coast, a stroll to watch the sea would be perfect. I am very jealous of Kaz!8 -
Our bedroom is now tidy, dusted, polished, and even though I'd already hoovered, I got down on hands and knees with metal fluff lifter thingmegig. It was surprisingly the extra fluff it picked up. Also makes the pile in the carpet look nice.
Strands with two hints. Washing up next then I'll take Poppet for another walk.Spend less now, work less later.6 -

photos there temporarily. I'm too short to see the frame unless I climb onto a stool. Out of sight; out of mind.
I too live as far away from the coast as you can get.
ETA plus, for any lurkers - we are NOT perfect and we do not claim to be

I manage to see the sea every day on my walk with Wren but am seriously considering a little drive up to Dartmoor for her again when I get a blood test later in the week. I'd be halfway there when they extract the red stuff, so as long as it's not actually raining I'm heading inland.IVE FOUND THE CARD! The card I wrote for Belovéd for 21 September last year and hid, apparently incredibly well, turned up in the Civil Partnership file which I flicked through while decluttering my filing cabinet. Makes sense that I put it there, but not enough to have found it four months ago. (I managed to lose my car keys this morning. They were in the jacket I was wearing's pocket. It seems I'm getting good at losing things in the obvious place.)Anyway, decluttering is going rather well. 127 items of stationery and, so far, 26 files. I am not done yet.Better is good enough.9

Done well today, just need to put jollops down the plugholes before bed. We managed a walk as well - alas nowhere near the sea. If I can get the house in order this year, perhaps we'll go back on the market 🤞
